While it's important to note that "osteria" is now only part of the name and no longer the ambiance (in fact, you won't find anything resembling an osteria here), Osteria Degli Usignoli can truly be considered a Cesena excellence.
Excellent raw materials, delicious meat, an interesting wine list, and truly amazing desserts...
The only (and not insignificant) flaw is the wait.
One of the few restaurants open on Mondays, and perhaps this worked against us: more than three hours to enjoy an appetizer (excellent: mixed crostini and battilarda), a main course (pichana steak with porcini mushrooms and potatoes: plentiful and worthy of an A+), dessert, and coffee...
Leave your rush, all you who enter (on Mondays).

Excellent food, extremely slow service, and fair prices, but it definitely doesn't reflect the concept of an "osteria" anymore.
Four of us ordered 2 appetizers, 4 identical main courses, and 3 desserts. We arrived at our table at 8:52 PM and left at 12:03 AM.

Very nice location, good food, friendly staff.
The only downside was the extremely long wait, about three hours for a dinner consisting of an appetizer, two main courses, and two desserts.

When quality meets friendliness, and professionalism marries with attention to detail, the recipe becomes perfect... A charming location, surrounded by greenery, along the Savio River, 5 minutes from the center of Cesena. Meticulously prepared dishes and excellent quality ingredients.
Very friendly and professional staff. Wide selection of wines. Prices are not low, but they reflect the quality. The owners are very approachable and always available. I recommend it for a romantic dinner, a business meeting, or even to celebrate an event with friends. As soon as I have the opportunity to come to Cesena again, I will definitely return...

Situato appena fuori Cesena, posto suggestivo con vista fiume Savio. Dentro è ancora più bello: rustico, elegante e ben curato. Cibo ottimo con tante proposte non solo locali. Cibo molto bene, servizio ancora meglio, padrone di casa attento e preparato, come il resto dello staff. Consigliato.
