In a time of difficulty, we found not only refuge, but incredible generosity and unique kindness. Excellent restaurant in a strategic location for a break from a journey, where you can also sleep. A little noisy due to its proximity to the highway. The food is slightly bland, but as we all know, in Tuscany they only add salt to meat!

We decided to stop for lunch along the highway. Excellent choice, right near the toll booth, and excellent food and service! If you order the Florentine steak, the average price obviously increases.

25/08/2025: Simply delightful, beautiful Italian food and drink. Need to ask for restaurant opening hours, but if that's isn't open they will make you a takeaway meal to sit across the road at the riverside
23/08/2025: A Florentine colleague recommended La Casa del Prosciutto to me in 1997. For 25 years, at least once a year, I've found an excuse to come here for lunch. What can I say... a lot of water has passed under that bridge... so much has happened... some are no longer here... but La Casa del Prosciutto remains a guarantee. Thank you for continuing to make me happy.
