The restaurant is always busy and offers good value. We tried the pappardelle with wild boar (excellent), the tagliata with truffle (the meat was good, but the truffle was completely tasteless), and finally the tiramisu with cantucci (heavenly).

Since we discovered it, we've been happy to stop by every year when we return from a trip! Needless to say, all the roasted meats are truly excellent, even if they're a bit pricey.

An osteria like no other, with a meat counter, housewives rolling out pasta by hand, and a grill that fills with smoke and aromas. The result is quality and quantity: a typical Mugello and Tuscan menu filled with incredible flavors at a reasonable price. Plenty of seating, impeccable and fast service, making it ideal for a quick stop, even while traveling on the A1, thanks to its location near the toll booth. Mugello-style tortelli with an absolutely superb ragù and a mouth-watering polenta cake. To top it off, a delicious homemade torta della nonna. Worth a subscription! The only small flaw is a bit too much smoke inside, but it's definitely a true osteria!

Coming home (Tuscany) after our "4 States in 10 Days" camper trip was the best welcome we could have had. Delicious meat, fresh homemade pasta, and homemade desserts, fantastic hospitality, and creativity to die for, but words are invaluable... try it and believe it!

The kindness and welcome were truly unexpected, given the flow of people, and the ever-present smile.
The meat was heavenly, incredibly good and tender.
Very fast and helpful service.

A special thanks to one of the staff, Felice, who was very kind and friendly.
Hospitality is unparalleled; a highly recommended location.
Even though there was a flow of people, and thus a wait, they were really quick to accommodate the customer's needs.

Right off the highway exit, we waited a few minutes and then they seated us. The service was quick, the staff friendly, and the cuisine was authentic Tuscan.
