A historic trattoria in Bergamo, worth a visit if only for Giuliana, the owner. Very unique, chaotic, small... but that's the beauty of it. I've known it for 40 years; it's always been there, with ups and downs... It's also very well-known abroad, with a huge number of local and international customers... Wide selection, lots of fresh, high-quality products... especially typical of the Bergamo area. Super-fast service... Reservations are recommended, as there are often long waits... If you're particularly lucky, you might even spot Atalanta players, both past and present...

Dishes are always different, all carefully prepared using quality ingredients. A free buffet is available, with no restrictions, as long as you don't waste anything. The full menu is €13. A very distinctive atmosphere.

Absolute gem. When you arrive on a Monday night and the place is packed with locals....you know you're in for a treat. Guliana and her staff are excellent. The food is like grandma's cooking , absolutely yummy and the place is full of character. A very high recommendation for anyone visiting Bergamo.

Un posto pieno di collezioni sorprendenti e varie (dalle Barbie ai crocifissi, dalle maglie dell’Atalanta ai vecchi giocattoli …) con camerieri allegri e soprattutto sotto lo sguardo esperto di Giuliana. Abbiamo mangiato piatti tipici (casoncelli, polenta, carne di cavallo..) scegliendoli su un menù scritto in modo informale ma simpatico . Prezzo fisso 25 € (primo, secondo, buffet di verdure, acqua , vino, dolce e caffè): ben spesi!

Elija un primi piatti, un secondi y un postre en el menú. Además de esto tiene un buffet de ensaladas todo lo que pueda comer, una copa de vino, agua tranquila y con gas, además de un expreso. Precio total 25 € por persona. El lugar estaba lleno de lugareños un miércoles por la noche y la comida era básica pero buena. El ambiente era animado y disfrutamos de la noche.

15/06/2025: I've been to several bakeries and I have to admit that I've tried some amazing pizza. Go there
13/06/2025: We thought it was pizza al taglio and instead it is a pizza in pala that is made in slices (yes, there is a difference). The product is good but nothing special in reality. PRICES TOO EXAGGERATED. I recommend the one with bacon, potatoes and mozzarella. There is not even a table where you can eat it on the spot (the adjacent places have them). We were not very happy. The prices make you run away.

15/07/2025: Booked Monday evening for the mini tartare tasting menu + pasta aglio e olio. Excellent welcome, but the outdoor seating is quite noisy and not recommended on particularly hot evenings. The pasta aglio e olio was very good, but the portion I was given was only two forkfuls...really small. The four mini tartares are decently sized. Some of the pairings leave something to be desired, specifically the carbotartare (the carbocrema flavor was too strong, inedible) and the tartare de l'oster (a rather banal pairing). Overall, the price reflects the quality and quantity of the dishes.
