Incredible place!!! Giuliana, whom I didn't know, but who I had the opportunity to meet for the first time the night I celebrated my birthday at her fantastic restaurant, is a true character: ECCENTRIC, FULL OF LIFE, JOYFUL, CHEERFUL, A COLLECTOR... Because this isn't just a trattoria, but a veritable "museum." Apparently she loves Frieda Calo, but not only that. You can find endless memorabilia salvaged from flea markets, antique shops, or who knows where. Seeing is believing!!! I wonder how she manages to keep everything so tidy and perfectly clean. It's an experience we should all have, a visit, or even more than one, to this place! Let's talk about the food (and the VERY FAIR price?!!!). The menu is set, but it's like à la carte, with the advantage that everything is included: water, service charge, wine, dessert, and coffee. You won't find dishes like this anywhere else at these prices! The selection is truly extensive, and the dishes are traditional, cooked to perfection and served without a wait. The atmosphere is cheerful. The birthday cake is a mille-feuille, and as she enters the room, Giuliana arrives with a cowbell ringing to announce the arrival of the dessert and congratulations. Truly, everything was perfect! I'm so happy to have been able to dine and celebrate in such a unique setting!

As soon as you enter, you realize you're in a unique place. If it weren't for the beautifully set tables, you'd think you were in a convenience store. Giuliana welcomes you as if she's known you forever, and her eccentric attire fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the place. The large tables encourage guests to get to know each other. The staff is efficient and friendly. The food is quality, the price is fixed, and the menu is varied. The place is always busy, and to make a reservation, you need to plan ahead and arm yourself with patience. I'll definitely return to Giuliana, especially because Bergamo is worth a second visit.

Last night we decided to have dinner at Trattoria Da Giuliana, and honestly, we didn’t know what to expect. But it’s clear that we were extremely happy to have experienced this fantastic place at least once. As for the food, we were very satisfied. The atmosphere and the way the place is decorated show a lot of history behind this trattoria. You can really feel its identity. Seeing the staff happy and positive, even while they were busy, makes this place feel like a true icon in Bergamo. Highly recommended ✨ 🇫🇮

The best restaurant in Bergamo by far, unbeatable value for money, excellent food, magnificent staff, legendary owner, unbeatable lunch prices—if you cook the same at home, you'll spend more! The people of Bergamo always go there, so if you're a tourist, you absolutely must try authentic Bergamo cuisine!

Giuliana is number 1, for the rest there is Mastercard....

We had a great experience at this typical restaurant in Bergamo. The food was excellent. We ordered the menu of the day, and for appetizers we had onion and potato soup and pasta with chickpeas — both were absolutely delicious. For the main course we tried two different dishes, one fish and one meat dish (I unfortunately don’t remember the exact names), and they were both very tasty as well. The owner is very kind and friendly — you notice it immediately and it makes the experience even more pleasant. The decoration is a bit unusual, but in a charming and interesting way. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to try authentic Bergamasque food.

A TRUE Bergamo osteria with Giuliana, the perfect host and hostess. Wonderful. The service is fast. The food is amazing, simple but impeccable in terms of cooking and flavor. A real gem.... They sat us at a table, and when we told them we were from Rome, we discovered it was the table where Gasperini ate!!! And I found myself right there in his place!!! A surge of pride... Now it's ours and no one can touch it!!!!
