First time at this delightful osteria in the center of Lucca
Informal but refined atmosphere
The menu features meat and fish dishes, but is not very extensive
The creamy chestnut risotto with wood pigeon ragù is very good
The fried brain brings back memories of the past.
The wine list is interesting and reasonably priced.
The service is polite, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I went on a Wednesday evening with friends and it was wonderful! I'd never been there before, so it was a great discovery! The bread and focaccia are delicious too! They're friendly and warm, the food is good and high-quality, and the place is really welcoming. I'll definitely be back 😊 Thanks!

I come to Lucca frequently for work, the Manzoni is my favorite restaurant, excellent and well presented food, always quality wines, very kind and welcoming owner and staff, they make me feel at home

Everything is wonderful, but if you can, don't miss the spaghetti with garlic and oil, with capers and lemon flakes, one of the best dishes I've ever eaten in my life.

Off the tourist road this small but excellent restaurant offers the perfect blend of top notch food and attentive service.
The service was provided by Linda, who was happy to help with any questions regarding the menu and the wine. Couldn't have asked for a better waitress, her enthusiasm was contagious.
We ended up being the last to leave having consumed a good few bottles, leaving very full and contented vowing that if we ever come back to Lucca, we will return to Manzo.
Antonio(Owner) has a lot to be proud of, well done for making such a great place to enjoy Italian cuisine at it's finest.
