I booked this little restaurant a few days ago after reading the many super-positive reviews. Well, they were confirmed and more. Exceptional food, from appetizers to desserts. The service was friendly, precise, and knowledgeable. The price was average, in fact, fair for the quality! It's always a pleasure to find people who love their work. Thank you.

At Osteria Dal Manzo, the food is excellent, yes.
But stopping at the food would be reductive.
What remains is the expertise: present, fluid, never ostentatious. A professionalism that effortlessly combines a smiling courtesy, widespread and consistent at all levels. Here, you are welcomed, period.
The atmosphere is refined, clean, intelligently balanced. Just the right amount of sophisticated.
And then there's a detail that says much more than many words: the owner dines as if he were a guest. He doesn't control, he doesn't dominate, he doesn't direct. He shares. And that's not at all predictable.
The open kitchen does the rest: transparency, rhythm, safety. You watch them work and understand that everything is in its place.
A place that works because it doesn't force anything.
Excellent food, yes. But above all, a rare harmony between expertise, elegance, and humanity.

First time at this delightful osteria in the center of Lucca
Informal but refined atmosphere
The menu features meat and fish dishes, but is not very extensive
The creamy chestnut risotto with wood pigeon ragù is very good
The fried brain brings back memories of the past.
The wine list is interesting and reasonably priced.
The service is polite, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I went on a Wednesday evening with friends and it was wonderful! I'd never been there before, so it was a great discovery! The bread and focaccia are delicious too! They're friendly and warm, the food is good and high-quality, and the place is really welcoming. I'll definitely be back 😊 Thanks!
