Siamo stati a fine dicembre in questa Osteria. Accolti dallo Staff e dal Padrone di casa in modo eccellente. Mangiare a dir poco spettacolare. Su tutto il baccalà cotto a bassa temperatura. Complimenti davvero. Bravissima la giovane ma sapiente Chef e tutto il personale guidato in modo impeccabile da Antonio. Grazie della bellissima serata che ci avete fatto passare. Excellent cuisine and professional but friendly service.

Always nice to come back every year for Lucca Comics. Quality restaurant, even with special dishes that are hard to find elsewhere (like brain fritters). I recommend trying it.

5 days in Lucca for work, and Manzo was our little corner of peace and a paradise of goodness every evening! On various evenings we tried almost the entire menu and each time an explosion of flavours, goodness and taste. Side note in support: if with a name like that it was easy to think of Florentine, diaphragm and delicious cuts, the fish was also a unique delicacy, not to mention the MYTHICAL black scone in the bread bag... Number one 🔝

Wonderful tavern, if you pass through Lucca you absolutely must try the dishes offered here. Obviously I'm talking about a place for meat lovers, it is also possible to find vegetarian dishes but Dal Manzo, meat is the main ingredient. A note of thanks to the service which is impeccable and the selection of wines excellent. In conclusion, a truly warm and welcoming place. Highly recommended!

We booked a place here on a Friday evening. When we turned up we found that we had booked for the wrong day and the restaurant was fully booked! In spite of that they accommodated us and boy am I glad that they did. The food was extremely good and for me was the perfect balance between simplicity and fancy dining, showcasing good ingredients. Pasta dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. My son had pork neck which seemed to be an enormous shoulder chop. This was perfectly cooked, tender and flavourful. I had a perfectly cooked veal cutlet and my wife had tuna which was also perfect. No room for dessert but we had them anyway! Service was excellent - friendly and attentive. I congratulated, who I presume to be the owner, on the way out on the fantastic restaurant. He smiled and patted his hand on his heart three times which to me summed up the love that goes onto running a restaurant like this. Highly recommend this place.

Piccono, no ! Grande no ! Ottimo si! Tutto perfetto, dall’accoglienza al saluto finale, nel mezzo piatti ottimi e ben cucinati, staff strepitoso e qualità ottima col giusto prezzo, tappa obbligata se passi da Lucca, bravi ragazzi continuate così!

Beautiful atmosphere in an authentic Lucca street. This Osteria was recommended to us by our hotel, we sat outside under a few umbrellas while it was raining lightly. Thanks to the waterproof umbrellas and candles on the table, the setting turned out to be quite romantic. Lovely!
