We arrived last night for dinner at Osteria del Manzo without a reservation. The owner welcomed us kindly, immediately securing two seats outside. He was a man whose kindness and friendliness impressed us. The staff and waitresses were friendly, courteous, and professional, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.
The food was truly amazing: a beef tartare with an AUTHENTIC flavor and a steak that melted in your mouth!
The prices were very fair, in our opinion.
An endless selection of wines, including rosé. Real bitters, just the way I like them (Unicum and Braulio).
I'll be back every time I'm in Lucca!

A pleasant setting and a good restaurant specializing in meats/offal with an extensive wine list. The diaphragm was very good, as was the vitello tonnato.
Note that the octopus is fried.
Preferably eat outside, but reservations are recommended.
Overall, good value for money with courteous and pleasant service.

The only thing is: they need definitely some airfans because it’s not possible to dine outside and the building the seating area is next to, is reflecting all the heat it absorbed the whole day.

We found this place by accident, and it turned out to be the perfect final meal in Tuscany. The staff is wonderfully attentive, and the restaurant has such a welcoming atmosphere. We shared a beef tartare as a starter, followed by octopus and tagliata for our main, and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, cozy restaurant rather than a tourist trap.

Location carina ben gestita con il titolare molto affabile e orientato alle esigenze del cliente. Buoni gli antipasti con un neo alla zuppa Garmugia un po’ liquida. Ottima la carne e la lista dei vini. Prezzi nella norma.
Restaurante sencillo en una zona tranquila de la ciudad. Un menú interesante y todo lo que probamos era delicioso. El personal era amable y servicial. Muy recomendable.
