We often went to Vittorio's with a couple of friends and their children, who were just out of school.
After 25 years, I still go back every now and then.
The dishes are simple but honest. More like family cooking. The farinata is amazing, and the cod frisciôu are delicious, when available. It's a shame about the atmosphere: clean but a little cramped. Excellent value for money.

A simple trattoria in terms of furnishings and presentation, but the building is historic.
A selection of local dishes. What stands out is the quality of the preparation. Even a simple hake with potatoes is perfect. The freshly made farinata is delicious.
The tables under the porticos are particularly beautiful because of the porticos. The prices are fair. The service is prompt. Reservations are not possible; you must arrive at strategic times.

We had dinner two nights in a row. The simple, authentic menu changes a few dishes every day, and everything was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly. We recommend arriving early or for the second, later sitting.
The panna cotta was spectacular!!

A classic Ligurian trattoria, it's inexpensive and the food is overall good. The place is welcoming and clean. My only constructive criticism: the meatballs, if large, are usually served in portions of three, not two. A plus is that you can taste the homemade food.

A historic restaurant in Chiavari, overlooking one of the city's most beautiful squares. Traditional Ligurian cuisine without compromise, honest, simple, and solid, just like its people. Fair prices and fast service. Reservations are recommended on weekends, but the wait is acceptable. Leave your car in the parking lot: you can reach it on foot under ancient porticoes.

Se volete un esperienza tipica locale qui troverete esattamente quello che fa al caso vostro! Assolutamente consigliata la farinata, il minestrone alla genovese, la pasta al pesto e i pansotti al sugo di noci. Peccato solo che l’aria condizionata non sia stata accesa nonostante l’avessimo richiesta diverse volte….dei veri liguri 😂

Location buona, personale gentile.
Purtroppo per quello che abbiamo ordinato cioè insalata di mare, alici fritte e una porzione di cozze siamo rimasti molto delusi per la qualita'.
