A fairly quiet place. Good food and good service, very friendly waiters.
The carbonara and ravioli with ragu were excellent, the gnocchi were good but basic, the salads were very good, and the desserts they recommended—Nonna's cakes, spinach cakes (and something else), and the chocolate and ricotta cake—were delicious. The tiramisu was okay, nothing special, with a weak coffee flavor.

A lovely restaurant in the center of Lucca, beautifully decorated, with excellent food and prices in line with downtown restaurants. Special mention goes to the particularly kind and helpful waiter. We had a wonderful evening and will return if we're ever in town again.

Saw the reviews and made our way here for lunch, on a day trip to Lucca. Was busy (in February!) but didn’t wait long for a table. The staff were very friendly. Great wine selection. No fuss, relaxed environment. Steak tartare to start, wild boar ragu & tomato basil pasta for mains were incredible, the pasta is homemade and this was the best meal we’ve had all weekend.

Another amazing meal in Lucca! We got lucky and walked in on Valentine’s Day. I would recommend a reservation but the food was wonderful. I got the pasta with sea bass and it was light and delicious.

Amazing, excellent food with delicate flavors reminiscent of true Tuscan tradition. The service is always fast, very friendly, and attentive to detail. The atmosphere is great, the central location is very convenient. I recommend it to everyone, even the little ones.
