Osteria da Rosolo In Lucca

We came across this restaurant by chance, during a walk within the walls of Lucca, we found a well-kept environment, very traditional and typical Tuscan but also elegant. The menu offered many traditional dishes and even for us, who are vegetarians, there were some excellent proposals. We ate very well and were pampered and served with a professionalism that is difficult to find in similar restaurants, truly excellent, we will certainly return.

My girlfriend and I arrived for New Year's Eve dinner without having booked (unfortunately we decided at the last minute to go to Lucca) and we were told on the phone that at most they could find us an outdoor seat if we went there to wait, but he couldn't assure us anything. After waiting about ten minutes outside, we are not only told that they will give us a seat, but even indoors, because others had cancelled. The dinner went perfectly, the food was excellent, especially typical things (I recommend trying the dessert with spinach, really good and special). The restaurant is in the heart of the centre, the prices are more than honest, we only spent 80 euros between us on New Year's Eve, eating a lot. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they really put us at ease. Thanks again, you made our New Year's Eve better!

Locale centralissimo, abbastanza accogliente, ma con i tavoli un po' troppo attaccati. Servizio veloce e professionale, menù ampio terra e mare, carta dei vini abbondante e qualificata. Zuppa al cavolo nero e spaghetti freschi alla carbonara ottimi, tagliata discreta. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità del cibo, meno all'ambiente. Comunque da provare.
