We discovered this restaurant a few days ago while passing through Lucca. So satisfied, we decided to repeat the experience on our return trip! Excellent Colonnata lard and exceptional waiters!

Looking for a place to have lunch and made the right choice. The Fiorentina steak was spectacular and highly recommended for meat lovers. The place is simple but welcoming and the service is excellent.

Excellent restaurant!!! Pappardelle with wild boar...delicious. Fillet with green pepper...fantastic.... Beef tagliata...superlative. You can taste the excellent choice of raw materials...and their preparation. Friendly owner and excellent advice on what to eat. Excellent wine cellar!!! 😙

First restaurant upon arriving in Lucca... the owner immediately found us a table even though we hadn't booked... unbeatable value for money! Real pasta and homemade dessert: a real treat! Very pleasant service... worth discovering!

While visiting Lucca, we stumbled upon this restaurant. After initial hesitation, due to the attitude of the person I believe to be the owner—who actually turns out to be very direct, yet courteous and even friendly—we sat on the heated veranda. It was Sunday lunchtime, and we hadn't booked, but the owner found us a table (they also accept dogs, and Poncho was with us). I must say, the service was quick and the food was very good. Recommended!

03/01/2026: Ample parking, beautifully decorated restaurant, quiet location, fast and friendly service, delicious and plentiful first courses, and the Florentine steak is superb!!! We'll definitely be back.
03/01/2026: Very good restaurant, the food was excellent. I am vegetarian and, although I was in an organized group and I had not announced this in advance, the staff was very kind and prepared a special menu for me. In addition, there are two very nice dogs, Bruno and Alice, who make the atmosphere even more pleasant. I really appreciated the attention and care towards the customer. I highly recommend!

30/12/2025: Classic Tuscan Osteria. The host and waiters are incredibly friendly and helpful. Lory, a special woman from another era. Traditional, excellent food. Good value. If you're in Lucca, you can't miss lunch here.
28/12/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this authentic and comfortable little place. The service was extremely friendly and attentive; the bill was fair. The icing on the cake was the owner, who, seeing my curiosity, offered me a slice of their fig cake (delicious!!!). Highly recommended!
