Typical Sicilian place, very welcoming and very good food! Fabulous orange and onion salad! Delicious swordfish. Fresh fish! The waiter was very nice and kind! Many greetings from Sicily and Emilia 😂😂👌🏻👌🏻❤️

The typical dishes served in the restaurant are good, such as the Etna appetizer with an exquisite caponata, cheese, salami, omelette, grilled vegetables, battered vegetables, spinach; pasta alla norma, casarecce alla pecoraia with ricotta and sausage, Sicilian tripe. The place is well furnished with colorful paintings and has tables both outside and inside.

We came across this tavern by chance, on the recommendation of a local.
It was our first dinner in Sicily and we are happy to have had it there.
Delicious and fresh food, prepared with attention, very friendly staff who willingly stay to chat if at times of low attendance, also the willingness to satisfy even the silliest needs and requests of customers, all with lightness and a sense of pleasure, it is not at all obvious.
As soon as we left, I immediately recommended it to other friends because I think it is among the best places to eat in Ortigia and the surrounding area. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Had our best meal of the trip so far tonight. We arrived pretty early and managed to get a place inside. There were already 3 parties there having a civilised night out. The staff go about their tasks in a quiet , cheerful manner and were keen to help improve our Italian as we stumbled over the menu. Every course was was excellent. We shared three of the four courses with a main each. Mixed Grill and Rabbit. The title Lemon Cream did not do the dessert justice. It was a delicious Lemon cheese cake. Most of the staff are not in the first flush of youth but were keen to chat despite our lack of Italian. A great night out alround.

Da Mariano ci tornerei.. anche domani. Ottimi pitti della cucina siracusana serviti con garbo e simpatia. Consiglia gli spaghetti alla siracusana con acciughe pomodoro e pane macinato tostata. Tutto veramente buono
