I followed the reviews, and it didn't disappoint: excellent value, attentive and friendly staff. I devoured the grilled Masculini and Caponata with a quarter of the house white wine!

After walking around the island, we found this restaurant on a narrow street. The service was generally good and the food very tasty. I hope to try Tigresa someday.

During a short vacation in Ortigia, after reading the reviews, we avoided this Osteria with outdoor seating in a quaint alleyway, typical of small Italian villages. The wait was a bit long, but if you want good food, you have to wait! Delicious appetizers, the Siracusan pasta was good, and the seafood one was exquisite. To top it off, Zibibbo and ginger candy!
The perfect balance between location, food quality, and price!

Nice little Ostaria in a quiet area of Ortigia. We had a great time with excellent food (grilled anchovies, clams in spaghetti, mixed grill). House wine is very good too. The service was friendly and efficient. They let us take our time with placing orders and we sincerely felt they appreciated our being there. Not always the case in many restaurants, especially when the owner is absent. We try to pick restaurants where the owner is actively involved in the business. It makes a difference.
