This is my very favorite restaurant in Piombino. The food is fabulous and the staff are amazing.

A corner of taste and familiarity in Piombino
Every time I go to Osteria Mamma Carla, it's like feeling at home. The food is always delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of passion. The traditional Tuscan dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail, with genuine flavors that conquer the palate.
But what makes this place really special is the atmosphere: the warm welcome and kindness of the staff make you feel like you're among friends. Highly recommended for those looking for good food and a truly familiar environment.

trattoria in the main street of Piombino, excellent food, same service, normal atmosphere. not a cheap price... but unfortunately it's the norm these days... but for lunch it allows you to eat a first side dish, water and coffee for 18 euros... and this is an excellent choice that all places should offer!! took octopus and vegetables, water and coffee, bill from list 29.

Rarely have they all happened to me and I mean all the dishes were top marks, from the starter to the dessert.

Sono venuto con amici per la prima volta in questo caratteristico locale e mi è piaciuto molto. Personale gentile ed un'ottima scelta nel menù. Piatti abbondanti e gustosi, specialmente i tortelli mi sono piaciuti molto..........ritornerò molto volentieri prossimamente.

Ci siamo seduti da Mamma Carla per un pranzo leggero e veloce, tardi (come è un po' al nostro solito) e senza grandi aspettative, dato che tutti i locali della zona erano pieni di turisti. Intanto mi ha fatto piacere che, dopo averci fatto sedere nell'unico tavolino libero, troppo piccolo per 4 persone, ci abbiano subito fatto accomodare in uno più grande, appena liberato, quasi subito. E' un piccolo gesto ma dimostra attenzione al cliente. Abbiamo mangiato principalmente bruschette e crostini, acqua e vino ma nella semplicità di quello che abbiamo scelto, posso dire che abbiamo mangiato bene. Il servizio è stato caloroso e simpatico.
