Fish dinner in this very nice restaurant in the center of Piombino. Very kind staff and very good fish. The only flaw is the mussel sauce too salty, but everything else really super (especially the cacciucco)

As soon as we arrived in Piombino we went to Mamma Carla, where we were welcomed by kind staff who were very attentive to the needs of my celiac partner! Quality food, excellent pici cacio e pepe and grilled calamari!

Prima volta a Piombino. Piacevole scoperta perchè pensavo fosse solo una città di porto invece ha un centro storico gradevole e bello. Passando davanti a questo posto poco prima di pranzo ho pensato di chiamare per prenotare ed ho avuto la fortuna di trovare l'ultimo tavolo libero. Personale gentile, servizio veloce, piatti semplici e gustosissimi: da segnalare i crostini misti e la calamarata veramente notevoli entrambi. Abbiamo preso anche un medaglione di polenta, buono anche questo ma 12 euro sono un prezzo esagerato se rapportato agli altri piatti. Vino della casa godibilissimo e dolci di buon livello. Una bella scoperta.

Sono venuto con amici per la prima volta in questo caratteristico locale e mi è piaciuto molto. Personale gentile ed un'ottima scelta nel menù. Piatti abbondanti e gustosi, specialmente i tortelli mi sono piaciuti molto..........ritornerò molto volentieri prossimamente.
