The trattoria da Lucia has been offering its specialty of spaghetti with clams and mussels for years, the fish-based second courses are also excellent, and excellent wines.

Tried it after hearing it mentioned a lot by acquaintances... Rustic atmosphere, basic service... like a tavern and ok, it fits. No menu and the waitress who says the bare minimum (it was the first time we went there....it's not like I can already know what they have 😅😅) I had fish salad (which was just octopus) and fried calamari.... very good! Fish that melted in your mouth... One flaw.....paying 5 euros for a mini terrine of only green salad (practically paid as a more elaborate side dish!!) seems a bit excessive to me!!! However, I'll adjust next time I go back...I saw some interesting mussel dishes

I have always eaten well, it is a typical historic Friulian trattoria, and has beautiful rooms available for customers to stay. Close to the city centre, it is a place I would recommend.

Because everything is 5 stars, surely many will contest this opinion, but the 5 stars are due to the genuine management typical of the taverns of the past and only those who have experienced them can understand what I mean.

"Limited" menu but everything very good and tasty! Kind and attentive staff. We will definitely be back....

I think the spaghetti with clams served in this tavern are the best I have ever eaten!!! Worthy of note is the peppered mussels... EXCELLENT!!!

I swear I tried. I went to many restaurants in Friuli looking for a better plate of spaghetti than this one. Even in renowned restaurants specializing in fish. Unfortunately I didn't succeed. These are the best spaghetti with clams in Friuli Venezia Giulia.! Compliments.! The peppered mussels or cod are also very, very good. Ancient tavern in Udine.
