A difficult decision.
I've been there several times since the 1990s, with some interruptions.
Great decor, a garden in the olive grove, and a view of Lake Garda. Friendly service.
However, there are no more Italian surprises on the menu these days.
Currently, all meat dishes come with fries (steak, chicken, pork, etc.).
Pasta dishes are expensive.
"Tavo" has since moved in, about 70 meters away.
Too bad, it used to be better.

A clear recommendation, we ate here 3 times during our holiday and it was always delicious, the waiters friendly and the view of Lake Garda simply amazing...I would recommend making a reservation

Super friendly service and delicious food!
For starters, we had a fantastic cheese and ham platter – fresh and delicious.
The pasta that followed was really good – fresh, al dente, and well-seasoned.
Plus, a relaxed atmosphere and cold drinks – perfect!
We were completely satisfied and would gladly come back.

We were able to spontaneously reserve a table for that same evening! We had delicious bruschetta and two pasta dishes! The wine was also very good, as was the grape spritzer. The view of Lake Garda from the upper terrace is truly magnificent!

We ate there twice during our vacation and think the Osteria is the best restaurant we've visited in Limone. The service is fantastic, the food is incredibly delicious, and the ambiance is simply beautiful. You won't be rushed here; dining out is still a pleasure. We were happy to pay a little more for that. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fair and reasonable. If you're staying overnight in Limone, you should definitely eat at the Osteria.

An absolute must if you're on holiday in Limone sul Garda. The food is simply fantastic. Top-notch service, a small menu, but everything's homemade—it couldn't be better. A big thank you to the chef, we'll be back! Best, Mike.

Wir habe hier ein phantastisches Steak gegessen. Fleischqualität super und auch super gegrillt. Da gab es gar nichts dran auszusetzen. Das gegrillte Gemüse, das ich als Beilage bestellt habe, war nicht ganz mein Geschmack. Sellerie gehört meiner Meinung nicht dazu und ich hätte mir ein bisschen Würze gewünscht, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Steak war wirklich top.

Locale spazioso, con tanti posti a sedere sia all'interno che all'esterno con un giardino ben curato; arrivarci a piedi è stata una faticaccia perché ci sono salite ripide. Abbiamo condiviso un tagliere di salumi e formaggi e due primi di pasta fatta in casa, tutto molto buono!
Uniche pecche: i dolci più interessanti non erano disponibili perché era il primo giorno di apertura, il prezzo di 1/2 l di acqua e del quartino di vino della casa ci è sembrato eccessivo e ciò di cui era composto il tagliere non ci è stato presentato. Per il resto è stata una piacevole serata, terminata con un liquore offerto dal titolare.
