We were encouraged by the many positive reviews to eat at Osteria Da Livio. The ambiance is cozy and rustic, the service friendly, but the food was a disappointment: we had pasta with porcini mushrooms for our primi piatti and grilled chicken for our main course. The pasta was okay (but nothing more), but the chicken was extremely dry (of course, poultry needs to be cooked thoroughly, but this was more than enough). Unfortunately, we both had mild diarrhea the following night (neither of us are prone to gastrointestinal problems), most likely from the meal, as it was our arrival day, we had breakfast at home, and hadn't eaten anything on the way.

I was hoping to get a good Italian spaghetti carbonara there. Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The sun hadn't let me down, so the spaghetti was too hot when I got there. The bacon wasn't the right one either.
I expressed my displeasure right away. Even though I wanted to pay for it, the waiter removed it from the bill.
Hence the 4 stars for service.

Great atmosphere. Discovered by chance while eating. An insider tip, I'd say. Located at the very top end of Limone. Great food. Excellent service. We even had the open fires lit. Walk there if possible. Parking is limited. We were there right after opening at 5:30 in the evening. The small, good menu. The original wine is recommended. The beef fillet and tagliatelle with fresh mushrooms were all incredibly good...

Wir habe hier ein phantastisches Steak gegessen. Fleischqualität super und auch super gegrillt. Da gab es gar nichts dran auszusetzen. Das gegrillte Gemüse, das ich als Beilage bestellt habe, war nicht ganz mein Geschmack. Sellerie gehört meiner Meinung nicht dazu und ich hätte mir ein bisschen Würze gewünscht, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Steak war wirklich top.

¡Increíble! Hice un poco de investigación sobre restaurantes en la zona y estoy tan contento de haber encontrado esta joya. Ubicado en la ladera, olivares - hermosas vistas - tuvimos la mejor cena de nuestras 2 semanas en Italia aquí. El aperitivo era increíble, todos casi lamimos el plato limpio. 10 / 10 , me encantaría volver algún día. Nos sentamos fuera en el "porche", pero la zona del jardín parecía acogedora y por dentro muy encantador. Buen personal de camareros - buen vino!
