Thank you Giuseppe for the tablecloths, the smiles, the wooden chairs, the little ricotta scante, the dishes, the sauces, the craftsmanship, the little menu of the day, the simplicity which is almost luxurious, the traditions and above all the quality. Your restaurant is a Proust madeleine, a dinner like at our grandmothers’. Thank you thank you for this sweet moment, it’s so rare.

We read the reviews and chose this restaurant based on the many positive reviews - and we weren't disappointed! Despite a spontaneous visit, we got a place. The tiramisu was truly outstanding, creamy and perfectly balanced – clearly one of the best we have ever tasted. Operator Giuseppe ensures that you feel completely at home with his friendly demeanor and first-class service. We'll definitely be back!

Finito qui per caso, una MERAVIGLIOSA sorpresa. Sembra di entrare in casa di qualcuno, la sala è piccola, il vino è sincero, la cucina buonissima. Un bel posto, bella gente, mangiato benissimo. Bravi Giuseppe e Signora.

Trattoria eccellente sotto tutti gli aspetti. Servizio attento, cortese e professionale diretto dal titolare sig. Giuseppe che è anche un ottimo poliglotta. Si comincia con gli innumerevoli ed abbondanti antipasti della casa , tutti genuini e composti da prodotti locali. Il menù propone degli ottimi e squisiti primi e dei prelibati secondi tra cui prediligo l’asino cipollato: uno stracotto di asino tenero e saporito mai mangiato altrove. Ci sono anche dei gustosi contorni. Ho gustato una superba crema catalana come dolce. Buono il vino della casa e la scelta delle cantine per chi volesse quello in bottiglia. Costo più che adeguato. Consigliassimo.

06/05/2025: Recommended by a friend of ours from Bari, we went to this wonderful restaurant. What's more, the food is delicious, the potions are very plentiful. Very fresh fish and seafood. The owner is very kind and friendly, the staff is always available. Prices normal. Super recommended.

La Sciabica Antica Osteria

05/05/2025: Very quiet, suggestive and romantic place, light stone walls and dark woody colours. Very beautiful and good dishes. The first courses and the pizzas are excellent, light and tasty. Very good fish dishes. Excellent staff.
25/04/2025: A true oasis in the heart of Brindisi, one of the most boring cities in the world! We discovered this restaurant in August 2023, while waiting for a ferry and looking for somewhere both elegant and with tasty food. The streets of Brindisi were deserted, but this place brought us back to life. The dishes were good, the decoration very attractive, even if we chose to sit outside. It was a pleasant moment, a nice memory. The location is also very charming.
