We've been frequenting Osteria Da Gemma for many years, and it's always a guarantee. We always book at least six months in advance because they fill up quickly—and it's not hard to understand why! The €35 fixed menu offers incredible value: around ten courses, including desserts, and house wines if you're looking for nothing else.
Excellent food, a warm, family atmosphere, and unforgettable dishes. The tajarin with meat sauce are simply unique. At the end of the evening, Signora Gemma comes by to say goodbye to her guests, a thoughtful touch that truly makes all the difference.
We always enjoy returning, sometimes twice a year, and we recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience steeped in tradition.

A very spacious restaurant on several floors, perfect for a table of twenty or so. The staff is friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. The food was good, but the first courses were very sweet. It was a strange choice to offer both tajarin with ragù and plin with the same tomato sauce, rather than, for example, with roast gravy or something similar. The braised beef was good, but here too, the sweetness of the carrots used in the cooking stood out.
The desserts were excellent.
In short, a traditional restaurant with a big name that fills the rooms, but be careful with your tastes.
The fixed price of €35 is excellent.

What can I say about Gemma's taiarin?
Try it with ragù, butter, or oil and parmesan.
Not to mention that everything else in the meal is excellent and filling.
