Osteria da Gamba In Bassano del grappa

We had dinner at this beautiful, historic trattoria outside the center of Bassano, and it was like stepping back in time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks in large part to the owner, Nello, who makes you feel at home with his friendliness and simplicity. The food was very good; we recommend the tripe and Venetian-style liver, but the menu also offers a wide selection of game, fish, and local dishes. Prices were reasonable, portions were generous, and parking was easy. We highly recommend!

I've been coming here with my family for a while now; there's always something new! As always, the food is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful (Chef Nello, his wife, and daughter), and the prices are excellent for the quality/quantity! You really feel like you're part of the family!

This historic trattoria has finally reopened! The place is very charming and welcoming. The welcome is top-notch! The menu offers a wide variety, from appetizers to first courses, second courses, and desserts. I'd like to highlight the delicious bollito misto, and if I had to rate it, I'd go with an 11... Good wine selection. Value for money: excellent!!!

We returned after many years, passing through, for lunch. The business menu was excellent, the à la carte menu interesting and of good quality... excellent value for money.

Excellent, quiet place near Bassano. I went there one evening with friends (there were four of us) and it was a pleasant evening. The wine and food were excellent, with an honorable mention for the tiramisu they made, as well as the other delicious dishes I ate and highly recommend, like the tagliatelle with hare ragù and the crostini with creamed cod! The place is very well-kept and comfortable. I will definitely return when I have the opportunity to be in the area!

Excellent business lunch, they have a lot of variety and they are quick to bring you food, plus the waitresses are very courteous.
