Our first pasta experience in Rome was a hit. The cacio e pepe and gricia were delicious, and for dessert, of course, the tiramisu. The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was friendly, especially from our waiter, Peppe. The food was served very quickly, so there was no wait (we were there at 12, so not long after opening). I highly recommend it for a delicious break from sightseeing.

I had dinner at Osteria da Fortunata today (September 8, 2025) and my server, Peppe, made the experience unforgettable. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The pasta was incredible, but Peppe’s service really made the meal special. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!

Pasta fatta al momento, non chiudere, ti consiglio di andare presto o metà pomeriggio perché la coda è eccezionale, ma vale la pena aspettare se vuoi mangiare una vera pasta italiana.
We were looking for somewhere to get a traditional carbonara. This restaurant had very good reviews and it seemed that people queue to get in. We turned up without a booking but were given a place inside. We shared a Carbonara and two mains. The Carbonara was okay. Quite creamy and the quincale was nice and crisp but overall a bit bland. The two veal mains were also okay but quite average. Saltimbocca not as good as I make it myself (and I’m not Italian). It was a pleasant enough meal but we were expecting something special.

2 ème fois que l’on va dans ce concept et l'enseigne la 1 ère fois à Bologne.
Vraiment très bon. Pas de réservation, donc y aller tôt ce que l’on a fait les 2 fois. Autrement queue immense sur le trottoir ! C’était le cas dimanche. Nous on mangeait en face et on pris un couple en repaire 1 heure d’attente !! 😂😂 Tous étaient très bons.
