Food here was incredible and staff were really nice and welcoming. Only downside to this was the actual dining experience. Sitting outside tables are crammed very close to together make it difficult for wait staff to get between tables. If they could improve this experience this would make the atmosphere much better. There is always a line so be sure to book!

Old-fashioned cuisine The friendly staff offered a sincere, no-frills welcome. Handmade pasta in the window display, and the tiramisu was authentic. We didn't have time to photograph it; we were too busy eating it. There was a bit of a line for a table, but it was worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Okay, it's a show, the waiters are in good spirits. The food is good, but there are better options. It's a chain, so it lacks a personal touch. But you can definitely get lunch there.

Delicious food, handmade pasta. Great sauce, and the carbonara is also excellent. It's not a fancy place, nor is it premium, but when it comes to the cuisine, it's better than many restaurants over €100. I highly recommend it.

Excellent service; Orazio served us. If they don't have a table available, they'll accommodate you at one of their other locations, as they have several restaurants throughout Rome. The food was very good.

Today, August 21, 2026, we were served by Orazio, who was very kind and attentive. He speaks excellent Spanish, which made ordering our food much easier. Regarding the food, the pasta is incredible; it's made fresh to order and is truly authentic Italian cuisine. The price is good for the quality.

I'm from Piedmont and have been hearing about Osteria da Fortunata for a long time. I booked to get the full Rome experience, because if you go to Rome in my area, you have to go at least once! It's a must. I was afraid it would be more touristy and overrated, but instead I have to compliment it because everything was truly delicious, and the staff was incredibly kind, friendly but not intrusive (Davide served us). The food spoke for itself! 10/10 for the Cacio e Pepe, truly a dream, I dream about it at night 😭 One of the few times I come here to spontaneously write a review!

The dominant taste of the pecorino became a bit overpowering towards the end. I would try the carbonara without cheese next time. Otherwise, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant.
