My husband and I spent New Years Eve here and it was absolutely excellent. The service was amazing and every bite of food was divine. They didn’t rush us out, everyone was just an absolute pleasure and the owner was there and you can tell he really cares about his customers. 10/10 recommend for a romantic dinner out in Venice!

New Year's Eve dinner at Fiore in San Polo.... everything was perfect, exceptional food, and impeccable service with just the right amount of friendliness. Special mention for the manager's dazzling shoes in the blue suit...a familiar face to Venice's high society and the Venetian hinterland. Thanks, Damiano...if you're passing through Cazzago (I know you are), come visit me and we'll have a drink together.

The food was great — even the bread! However, the service could be improved, as only one staff member (the one wearing a sky-blue blazer) was taking care of us. The manager seemed to focus mostly on his wine, and no one was attending to our wine or dishes. There was quite a long wait to pay and collect our jackets. Excellent food, disappointing service.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic atmosphere. But! Its service is not as good as it should be, specially its general manager’s attitude. My family didn’t feel him and his team’s passion and professional. It was a shame. He should not just pay attention to the local clients and ignore the international friends. We like their food but disappointed at its service. It didn’t match its level.

I came for dinner with colleagues; we were curious to try Fiore since it is (and was, in my opinion) a Venetian institution. Despite the many critical reviews, the atmosphere is welcoming and intimate. The staff is friendly but certainly not attentive. Perhaps because we were young, no one bothered to ask if everything was okay, otherwise we would have made a point. The appetizer was delicious, the first and second courses were absolutely average and the prices were completely inappropriate for the quality offered, and the dessert was very good. The review is 4 stars, not 3, only because, after I had to personally complain about a fried food that was objectively inedible (the first time I've ever failed to finish it), no one wanted to finish it, and it was removed from the bill (€42, a completely senseless price). Overall, a good experience, but the feeling is that the restaurant is living off its past reputation and the appreciation of foreign customers unaccustomed to high-quality food. Consequently, the quality offered is not adequate, but still more than sufficient for those with less refined palates. It's a shame, because expectations were not met; in the end, €94 per person (without alcohol) for a perfectly normal meal.

Excellent food and service, friendly waiters, and especially the waitress who speaks Spanish and recommends typical dishes. Pleasant atmosphere, typical Venetian food with great tapas. I highly recommend this restaurant; we've been twice in four days in Venice.

A quality restaurant! We went there after some research. The service, attention, and flavor were excellent. We left satisfied. We ordered the soft crab called moleche and the monkfish for our main course. The crab was especially delicious. We were very pleased with the service and atmosphere. Go with the understanding that the prices are a bit higher than usual. However, I think you'll be pleased. I recommend making a reservation.

This is one of the quintessential restaurants in Venice! The food is traditionally venetian but subtle in preparation & presentation; the service is impeccable and yet personal and the atmosphere is intriguing, the dining room gives the cosy warmth of a private club. The menu shows much, much more I want to order than I could possibly eat in one (even two or three) evening(s). My wife and I had "Scampi rosolati al lardo" & "Baccalà mantecato", the we shared "Tagliolini scampi e radicchio rosso" and the "Tagliata di tonno" & "Coda di rospo su crema di broccoli" and "Zabaione" and every single dish was beyond compare. We are looking forward to our next visit to Venice and the food & hospitality of the "Osteria Da Fiore".
