It's not just a place for tourists... ...who are welcome because they too can appreciate the quality of Venetian cuisine. The menu is appropriately basic, yet offers a wide range of traditional meat and fish dishes. The atmosphere is quaint and inviting, and the staff is professional and very helpful. The prices are in line with the quality. We really enjoyed our stay!

Veal cheek braised in red wine with mashed potatoes — €22.00 The beef cheek is tender, and the potatoes are well-seasoned, complementing the gravy perfectly. Fried mixed seafood with squid, prawns, and vegetables — €26.00 The seafood is fresh, the batter is light yet retains its original flavor, and the seafood is not overcooked. Paccheri with black cabbage and shrimp tartare — €18.00 The pasta, as pictured, has a perfectly reduced sauce. The grilled scallops were still fresh, but the seasoning was a bit heavy. It's a pity we didn't have wine with them today. They are a memorable part of Venice besides the scenery. The owner's service was excellent, and many locals recommended making reservations. Paccheri with black cabbage and shrimp tartare — €18.00 La pasta and mantecata alla perfezione, con una riduzione del sugo come mostrato in foto. Le capesante alla griglia sono ancora fresche; tuttavia il condimento è piuttosto deciso. It's the best time to play lascia in ricordo in Venezia and not solo in paesaggio. Il titolare è cordiale; il locale è frequentato soprattutto da clienti locali. Si consiglia la prenotazione.

Perfect place to go for a perfect local experience away from the tourists. Great service and amazing food. The seafood is fresh and perfectly prepared. The service is incredible!

Popped in after a flight delay made us miss out elsewhere. They very kindly made a space for us and served us delicious local cuisine. Beautiful space and fantastic food. We will be back.

A typical Venetian osteria. Something that's hard to find in Venice these days. Good food, a traditional atmosphere, and friendly service. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but that's Venice.
