We were so pleased to find this warm and friendly restaurant, which seems to be family run and very legitimate. Food we ordered was generally very good: gnocchi; red sauce pastas; pork loin strips in brown sauce; fettucine alfredo. There was definitely cooking going on in the kitchen (unlike some of the tourist traps in Rome that are services of reheating prepared food). We really appreciated that they allowed us to come in and be seated close to the time that the kitchen would close. We quite enjoyed our meal!

Great affordable lunch spot close to the Vatican with a cozy, rustic atmosphere. We split a starter salad, two pastas, and beer for about €17 per a person. Salad ingredients tasted very fresh and the pasta (especially the carbonara) was extremely tasty and suitable portion. Service was kind which is always a plus.

Nice location, attentive staff. Let's say that although everything was good in terms of quality, the menu was missing some dishes due to the seasonality of some ingredients, so we had to fall back on something else.

Very laid back restaurant with great ambience. The buffalo mozzarella was very creamy and flavorful. We tried carbonara with truffles as well as the amatriciana is amazing. My favorite tiramisu I had in Italy! Highly recommend if you want to get away from the touristy areas.

la Cucina è il TOP In particolare quella tipica romana. Posto molto carino,accogliente e la gestione è veramente cordiale e familiare. Carbonara, arrabbiata, trippa...chi piu ne ha piu ne metta :) Ritornerò sicuramente

Ottima cucina romana, prezzi più che onesti (primi da 10 a 15 €), i ragazzi sono cortesissimi e il locale è tranquillo. È stato un pranzo al volo al ritorno da un viaggio ma ne è valsa la pena.

10/08/2024: Welcoming atmosphere and convivial and very helpful service. Ideal for spending a different evening accompanied by excellent food. The alternative fried fish is amazing. Definitely worth visiting again.

09/08/2024: Food was some of the best I had in Rome. Highly rated for a reason. A warning on the menu to remember that it is not a fast food restaurant, and for a good reason. The carbonara with extra truffle sauce was rich and well seasoned. Friends got the Lasagna, the first option under the homemade noodles section, and the spicy tomato pasta, all with great reviews. Tiramisu was heavenly. Atmosphere was wonderful, plenty of lights outside and well put together.
08/08/2024: A great place to eat, sadly only found it on my last night. When I come back to Rome I will be eating here again. Great food, excellent service.
