Right around the corner from Piazza S. Marco, we discovered a true gem in a winding side street. 😊
The ambiance and service match the excellent food: top-notch! 👏🏻
From the creative starters and solid primi piatti to unusual main courses and simply wow! 🤩 desserts.
Not to mention the delicious wine recommendation from Friul, which perfectly accompanied the meal. 💪🏻
Special highlight: The incredibly delicious tomato sauce (Grandma says hello!) with the linguine for the littlest member of the family. 😉
We haven't had such an excellent meal in a long time – and: the credit card didn't even notice! 😃

I have eaten in the best restaurants around the world. 🌎 I love good food, but the level of dining of this restaurant was out of this world. The delicate way of preparing each dish with the explosion of flavors in your mouth is just very satisfying . I urge everyone to try this place. Make sure you reserve in www.osteriadacarla.it . You will not regret this. I urge the chef to compete for Michelin stars ⭐️ . My entire family and I give him ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you for such great food. PS :Deserts, !!!! The best ever.

It is a nice, not super touristy restaurant. It’s a very small but elegant restaurant. Food was good but not anything extraordinary. Worth visiting.

Extremely creative menu, executed well, in a tiny space with only 22 chairs. The staff genuinely seemed to be having a good time and the clientele included both locals and tourists. The food is presented beautifully but breaks conventions, like the tonno vitellato instead of vitello tonnato! I had three courses and three wines for €96. A delight.

He estado en Osteria la Carla varias veces en los últimos 8 años. Y hay una razón por la que siempre vuelvo - ¡es genial! Está escondido en un callejón detrás de la plaza San Marco y es bastante sencillo desde el exterior. Por dentro, está muy bien diseñado y la comida es fabulosa. Es muy moderno pero también muy veneciano. El personal es encantador - amable y servicial y obviamente orgulloso de su comida. Se le aconseja reservar una mesa, ya que solo tiene capacidad para unas 14 personas.
