Small place outside the center but very nice, we had dinner with macaroni with stew, boiled meatballs on mashed potatoes and green sauce (divine), Grana Padano with mustard, a bottle of good Lambrusco, pear in red wine on zabaglione cream and the Bice soup. All delicious, congratulations again to Bice and his staff.

Exceptional, everything. The impeccable service, the perfect and almost homely atmosphere, the tasty dishes. A small restaurant outside the busy streets of the center where you can immerse yourself in traditional Mantuan cuisine. The starters are all really interesting and the pumpkin flan (which I tried) was super. Among the first courses are the maccheroncini with stracotto sauce of a goodness (and abundance) to be told. The stuffed guinea fowl among the second courses is excellent, together with the boiled meatballs.

The food we got was well made and tasty, especially the cod. The rice lacked a bit of character, but maybe that's how it should be done. The service is genuine, sometimes even too much so, in the sense that they brought us a pepper grinder with the premise that it doesn't work (....).
Beautiful and characteristic environment; however the table is a bit dark, it would help a lot to have those lamps on the table, which are very popular today.

A very suggestive traditional place, especially with regards to the very well-kept and pleasant internal courtyard. Traditional Mantuan food, in some cases with some interesting twists. The second courses are excellent, the desserts are very good with particular reference to the bice soup, a "powerful" dessert. Fairly accurate service, very friendly and helpful staff perhaps with slightly longer waiting times than expected also taking into account that the place was crowded but not very full. Overall however everything was very good and so we will definitely return.
