We had lunch with friends on Boxing Day. Suggestive and truly unique location, although the restaurant offered two fixed menu alternatives, they still allowed us to order à la carte. Absolutely try the fried pizzas for starters, the meat is excellent, the first courses are less satisfying despite the wide choice. Full menu price €35/40, recommended

The place is charming and reflects the rustic atmosphere of the town, but welcoming and clean. the staff is ready and available. The wine list is very interesting, even if a little expensive. We went to Christmas lunch, I have to say everything was excellent, from the starter to the dessert! However, the "fixed" menu was very similar to that of December 25, 2022, a perfect place for a romantic dinner!!! PS: they also accept dogs. I attach photos of today's lunch.

Prima volta in questa locanda in pieno Borgo Medievale, Atmosfera suggestiva voto 10 particolari i dettagli e particolare l'apparecchio dei tavoli con stile antico e ricercato nei dettagli. Servizio non male un solo consiglio siate più simpatici e sorridenti che la gente nota anche l'accoglienza... Il cibo molto povero, anni dei nonni ma buono niente male come prima esperienza, particolari i nomi nel menù ma alla fine tutto nella media di tutti i giorni nulla di questo grande spettacolo. Nel complesso una bella esperienza sicuramente consigliata, da fare se nn siete mai stati a mangiare in un borgo. Prezzi molto cari per essere appunto, pollo, fegato e agnello nel menù. Bottiglie di vino carissime Dolci particolari Consiglio ma solo ADULTI bambini NO non hanno un menù adatto a loro ed inoltre ti ritrovi a non poterli far pranzare...

Un'esperienza di 200 anni fa. Meravigliosa

It was just okay. The setting is beautiful but the food, unfortunately, is mediocre. Essentially, you're paying for the atmosphere. The restaurant does have a lovely interior with a mix of the modern and rustic medieval, with heavy wooden beams and tables and whitewashed stone. The service was prompt and the waitress was very cordial. But the food was disappointing, especially considering the price, which is very expensive for this part of Italy. For just a primo, contorno and a glass of wine, I paid €30. The pasta I had was cooked reasonably well but it was a bit oversalted and one note, and I was bored after a few bites. The side dish of "wild grass" was bitter and underseasoned. The salad was just lettuce with a single sliced plum. Even the bread wasn't great, overly dry. Maybe I simply got unlucky with my choices and the atmosphere is very beautiful, but overall I was disappointed.

Abbiamo festeggiato gli 80 di mio padre insieme a tutta la mia famiglia,ci siamo veramente trovati bene,il mangiare è stato buono,ho mangiato per la prima volta la maionese allo zafferano devo dire buonissimissima,le loro lenticchie,gli gnocchi fatti in casa,e altro, consiglio vivamente di farci una capatina e assaggiare le loro prelibatezze,nn ho foto purtroppo,ho solo quella dei gnocchi💪🔥
