Came upon this delightful little spot and grabbed a table for two outside. We were warmly greeted. We ordered a bottle of red, salad, spaghetti with tomato sauce, and lasagna. Everything was fresh and homemade. You can tell the chef cares about his food. Service was prompt and welcoming.

It’s such a lovely and peaceful spot to have dinner, especially in Venice. The quiet canals and warm atmosphere make it feel really special—and the service was amazing. Andrea, our server, was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

Osteria L'Orto dei Mori

02/11/2025: A very nice hotel on the banks of a quiet canal in the Cannaregio district. It's just one bridge away from another lively canal lined with restaurants. The staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room, are very helpful and attentive. We were even able to have breakfast before leaving early in the morning. We also took a water taxi ride (between 50 minutes and 1 hour) on the Grand Canal and smaller canals for €45 per person. Piazzale Roma (where you arrive by bus and tram) and St. Mark's Square are a 20-25 minute walk away. The Fonte Nove ferry for Murano and Burano is 15 minutes away.
01/11/2025: Cannot express enough how excellent the service was here. The desk staff were immensely helpful - having helped arrange for concert tickets, dinner reservations, and even our airport pickup
