Come da titolo. Trovato per caso grazie a TA (altrimenti non l’avrei mai scovato!) Sito in stabile abbastanza anonimo. Parcheggio esterno ok. Interni in stile osteria d’altri tempi. Accoglienza molto buona. Sala interna con circa 20 coperti /8 tavoli. Menù della tradizione locale (di terra) con qualche variabile di mare. Materia primo eccellente. Buona la presentazione dei piatti. Gusto al palato a volte sorprendente. Servizio da laude. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto. Consiglio assolutamente.

Con una coppia di amici milanesi ci siamo trovati a metà strada per pranzare in questo ristorante. Location classica e intima che propone piatti della tradizione vercellese molto ben eseguiti (come i particolari gnocchi di riso). Carta dei vini ben fornita. Servizio cortese e professionale.

The dishes were excellently delicious, full of flavour. But they lacked presentation. However, compliments to the chef.

Simply. Refined and quality cuisine. We travel a bit because we live in the province of Lecco but it's worth it.

We were looking for a trattoria halfway between Milan and Turin. Splendid welcome, refined dishes and authentic atmosphere, excellent raw materials. Intimate tavern with only 20 seats and quality service. We will definitely be back.

Combining the adjective "arrogant" with the figure, education and courtesy of Paolo Milan is one of the most complex and embarrassing exercises in logical contortionism that a human mind can create. Perhaps because he always made me feel at home, every time I was his guest, perhaps because of the warm and muffled atmosphere inside which contrasts with the panorama of the deep Vercelli countryside around. It is a place for those few who know how to grasp the nuances that make the difference. Not for everyone. I will always remember an intimate midweek dinner with dear Julia, who comes from the land of ice, just the two of us in the room, the fire roared in the fireplace and time stopped outside the door while good Paolo pampered us with his delicacies. Pure magic.
