Four of us had dinner. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it was chilly on a fairly cold day. The Piacenza cured meats were really good, but the fried gnocco was a bit greasy and not at its best. The main course was suckling pig with mashed potatoes, and the dessert was a delicious sbrisolona with zabaglione. The bill was fair.

We ate here with about ten colleagues over the Christmas holidays. We booked well in advance because it's very popular and there's not a lot of seating (though they maximize the space to accommodate as many people as possible). We opted for the set menu (appetizer, 2 first courses, 1 second course), and there were also vegetarian options available. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious. Highly recommended.

We found this restaurant on Google during a brief stop in Piacenza and were pleasantly surprised. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, and there were plenty of vegetarian options for my wife. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was very elegant, especially the downstairs dining room.

We booked between 1 and 1:30 PM, and arrived at 1:20 PM. We ordered appetizers and first courses, telling the waitress we'd order second courses later.
Around 2:20 PM, we asked for another first course and second courses, and the waitress told us the kitchen was closed. We got angry and left, bluntly saying,
"You don't treat customers like that." Luckily, the owner, seeing us leave, reprimanded the restaurant staff as we were leaving.

Very good food; I recommend the gnocco fritto, risotto, and tarte tatin. The service was poor. This is my second time there: the first time, they sat a diner's dog at a nearby table on a chair, with the dog's face just inches from my plate. It was definitely unpleasant, and I would have expected the customers at adjacent tables to be asked if it was a problem. The second time, however, a waitress was inattentive and responded rudely to a customer. The atmosphere is okay; it seems nice overall, but some aspects are lacking (the white leather chairs are quite worn and dirty).
