Very characteristic place, the staff is very kind and attentive. The dishes arrive at the table well presented, and obviously very good too. The price is in line with the cuisine offered. Absolutely recommended.

I'll start with the place which is really pleasant, a cozy atmosphere, details that are pleasing to the eye, they have managed to maintain the "retro" look typical of trattorias/taverns, personalizing it and creating a very interesting atmosphere. The service is attentive, courteous and confidential just enough to feel at ease. You can see that the staff are well trained, exactly as you would expect. The food is truly of the highest quality, as are the ingredients used, the portions are right and considering the high quality of the raw materials, the preparation and the service, the value for money is quite high, also considering the central location but "confidential". Great work

It's no longer a surprise anymore. We have been to this restaurant several times and every time we are pampered by all the staff.
Excellent quality dishes and sublime wines.
We are always happy to come back every time we pass through Verona.
Simone and his staff are always very professional, kind and very attentive to customer needs.
Super recommended!

Sehr authentische Osteria, deren Ursprung auf das Jahr 1904 zurückgeht.
Wir sind spontan hier reingegangen, um einen Aperol Spritz zu trinken und sind gleich fürs Abendessen geblieben.
Die Gerichte sind außergewöhnlich, aber auch außergewöhnlich lecker. Auch die angebotenen Weine können sich sehen lassen.

Caffè Monte Baldo was ok but definitely not the "hidden gem" suggested by several reviews. We came for supper and the restaurant was packed with tourists only. The feel is more authentic than the places along Piazza Brà, but prices are nonetheless fairly high for the quality of the food. Amarone risotto was high on our list of dishes to taste in Verona, but underwhelming (and underseasoned). We also had cichetti, pasta and Amarone wine, all of which were good but not great for the price paid. Service was efficient and courteous.
