Fantastic dinner. Excellent value for money. Exquisite food: pappardelle and beef tartare. Great atmosphere. Good wine... and they even knew Real Oviedo and Santi Cazorla!

Some pros, but also some cons: the wine list is certainly good, as are the two meat-based main courses, with the duck breast a special mention. The cicchetti were significantly below expectations: dry and flavorless bread, ordinary and not-so-fresh fillings, and a pasta dish drowning in a flavorless sauce. The real sore point, besides the limited space due to overcrowding, was the service: from the start, the pressure to quickly free up the table for the next shift was palpable. Considering the relatively high prices, it leaves a less than pleasant impression.

Discovering Monte Baldo has been a true gift. It was recommended to us by people from Verona, but the experience exceeded all expectations. Wonderful place, atmosphere, and service. Without a doubt, I will be back 100%.

Excellent lunch for my birthday. Excellent Amarone brisotto, fresh and delicious canapés, special zucchini flowers, and attentive service with a few touches that never go amiss. Well done, keep it up. See you next time.

A truly special place in Verona. The atmosphere was calm and full of warmth, but what touched me most was the lovely lady who offered me a small “crostino porta vita.” She was so kind and genuine her gesture felt like a quiet blessing, something simple yet unforgettable. Moments like this are what make travel meaningful. Thank you for such heartfelt hospitality. Grazie di cuore ❤️

Unfortunately, it didn't win us over. It will probably be our only visit. I had read the good reviews, and we had often walked past the nice-looking restaurant (without being hungry) and admired the display case with the cichetti. At the entrance, I explained to the waiter that I was a vegetarian and asked if there was a selection of cichetti available… but there was only a mixed version, which wasn't an option for me. So we decided to try the Risotto Amarone. The wine selection is huge and good, but since we had to drive, we only wanted to order a quarter or half a liter. There were only bottles or glasses available…so we opted for a glass of wine (0.1 l at €8.50, which, as we later saw on the bill, is quite steep for Italy). While we waited for the risotto, a bread basket arrived (unfortunately, the bread slices and some of the rolls were bone dry / €3.50 per person). Then, as a complimentary amuse-bouche, each person received a chichetto (one slice of ham / one slice of Gorgonzola). Unfortunately, the bread was also bone dry and barely edible, and the Gorgonzola was quite crumbly and not creamy (free of charge, but perhaps from the day before?). The Risotto Amarone was tasty, but we found the portion, at €22, rather small. We skipped dessert and just had a good espresso. Tastes differ…it wasn't to our liking…especially the very loud and difficult background music, which annoyed us. A shame for what is otherwise a very cozy restaurant.
