We discovered the restaurant by chance while passing by. We went there for dinner, and it was absolutely perfect. We got a table right away and were served right away. The food was fantastic, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was also very good, and everything was reasonably priced. If we're ever in Bologna again, we'll definitely return to this restaurant.

Tucked away in a historic courtyard, this osteria is a little underrated gem. The location is elegant in its simplicity: refined yet welcoming, it exudes a sense of peace and recalls the rhythms of times gone by. The cuisine is excellent, with generous portions and authentic flavors. Service is prompt and courteous, and prices are more than fair. A slice of true Bologna, in the heart and soul.

Family lunch, good first courses, plentiful. The Bolognese cutlet did not satisfy me... I was also perplexed by the €2 coffee and €2.50 for the cover charge to sit on benches without a backrest... I also felt cold.... The place is located in the basement but is characteristic... there are some broken glasses in the window.... I recommend it anyway...

Fairly priced and generously portioned tavern that tries to hold its own against Bolognese gentrification in a building with a lot of history. Excellent traditional food, I highly recommend stopping by.

a truly fantastic place, bordering the palace of Princess Elettra Marconi (and this already makes it certainly unique); truly super staff, very kind, attentive, thoughtful; good cuisine, we had a tagliata and a tartare - both very good anyway - so we have few elements to evaluate, next time we will try the first courses. An experience that deserves, definitely to be repeated.

Fatto cena e dopocena in questo locale in occasione di un addio al nubilato. Cena con menù a prezzo fisso; antipasti e bis di primi a € 35, vino incluso (1 bottiglie ogni 3 oersone). Verso le 23 musica dal vivo e tutti a cantare e ballare, anche sulle panche. Serata divertentissima condivisa con gente di tutte le età.

12/07/2025: The legendary Kroffo! Always exceptional pastries! If you need to take some pastries somewhere and want to make a good impression, come here! Among the absolute best I've ever had. Totally rooted in the local atmosphere, this historic pastry shop is truly legendary.
06/07/2025: In a populous neighborhood like S.Donato, in an area that was once lush and full of activity but now unfortunately a bit dull, next to the church you will be delighted by the Kroffo pastry shop, the brioches are excellent as is the coffee!!! The attentive and kind staff are excellent for starting the day.

03/06/2025: English: Beautiful evening in company, lots of good food and lots of laughter. Sherwood is a certainty for anyone and for any need you have. With friends we stopped during the asparagus festival, now an institution for Altedo. We ate very well and we found the guys serving us, witty, funny and very helpful. There were several of us and some wanted it one way, some another, they all accommodated us, even me who doesn't eat meat, fantastic sandwich full of vegetables with cheese and Tabasco, I loved it! Of course if you expect the service of a restaurant with ten seats well, maybe it's better to move on, but moving on the festivals, the street food in general, the good eating standing up or on the bench if you're lucky is for those who don't have too many expectations, for those who love a tired but sincere smile. Those who work in these squares (all of them) have very tight rhythms and not immediately comfortable conditions, and when despite this you find the desire to smile and make jokes continuously for me, for us, you've already won. So for me, applause to all of them who also have homemade products starting from the bread they make. Congratulations guys!
