Restaurant and pizzeria located in the beautiful Piazza Garibaldi in Sulmona, adjacent to the Church of San Filippo, from which it takes its name. A very charming and characteristic place, the pizza is very good, even though it's not cooked in a wood-fired oven; the red ones are better than the white ones. I'll definitely be back to try it as a restaurant and not as a pizzeria. Prices are average, and the service is very fast. Highly recommended.

We arrived in Sulmona and dined here on our first night: it was an excellent experience! The carbonara and the pork tenderloin with Tropea onions were simply amazing. The next night we decided to change restaurants... and I greatly regretted it. After a bad experience elsewhere, we returned here for the following two evenings: it has become our safe haven. Special praise goes to the ladies in the dining room: always kind, smiling, and helpful, even when the place is full and the workload is considerable. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for service, but I assure you it's worth the wait: the kitchen works with care, and every dish arrives at your table with quality and attention to detail. Enjoy the atmosphere; they really give it their all. Highly recommended! 💛

30/04/2025: Favoloso pranzo di Pasqua, con piatti ben realizzati della vera tradizione abruzzese. Ottima organizzazione, anche se il locale era tutto prenotato con tavoli ben distanziati, il servizio è stato all'altezza, veloce, ben coordinato, con personale professionale e cordiale. Le n.6 portate non hanno sofferto, tutte servite ben calde e senza attese. Ci hanno servito il pane fatto in casa ben lievitato e l'ottima pizza fritta. Antipasto molto vario e ricco "La colazione di Pasqua" con ottimi prodotti locali: salame, salsiccia di carne e fegato, uovo sodo con agretti, fiadoncello, coratella al coccio e carciofi fritti dorati. Eccellente "Brodo di capretto in stracciatella di scarola. Due ottimi primi "Lasagna della tradizione con ragù di polpettine" e "Tagliatelle con carciofi, guanciale croccante e crema di pecorino dolce". Due fantastici secondi: "Spalletta d'Agnello del Parco alle erbe, rapestre saltate, patate al rosmarino" e il " Capretto cace e ove" Ottimo il "Semifreddo alla Colomba Pasquale"
09/03/2025: Locale, cibo e personale al top. Vale la pena provare la loro cucina che vi sorprenderà per gusto e qualità. Complimenti, anche per l’accoglienza agli amici a 4 zampe.

26/02/2026: The white chocolate croissant is simply sublime, but almost all the other breakfast items are excellent (and I'm not particularly fond of sweets). It's perhaps a little pricey.
07/02/2026: Great pasticceria with plenty of tables to sit inside, excellent Italian cappuccino (perfect taste!), fresh and tasty sweets and a parking lot. Fair prices: cappuccino 1,50€, each sweet 1,20€. Chocolate filling inside is not real chocolate though and nothing of real chocolate taste, it’s kind of pudding with chocolate flavour but it’s also interesting.
