Gem of a spot. Hidden down an alleyway, barely visible till you are close enough and very worth it. We were a big group and they were very accommodating for not having a reservation (unlike Trattoria da Me). Got to try a bunch of dishes family style and even some off menu. Standouts were the tortellini in broth, the lasagna, caprese salad and Petroniana style cutlet. Nice little wine selection with after dinner drink options as well. Great find.

Nice little place. Although crowded, at least at the time we visited, the service was nice, and the food portion pretty large.

A very secluded little place, with very good, homemade food (in the best sense of the word). Very friendly staff. Very reasonable prices.
The location isn't anything special and a bit dated, but if you're interested in good food, that's not the point.
Recommended.

We had the tortellini with Parmesan and they were delicious, the artichoke salad was tasty, and the mushrooms with a variety of cheeses au gratin were amazing. If we return to Bologna, we'll definitely order again. The service and atmosphere were fantastic! 👍

I hadn't been there in a long time, and I was really pleased. I had the Petroniana with baked potatoes, everything was excellent, including the homemade cheesecake. The table service was impeccable. I highly recommend it because they have excellent products and aren't pretentious, far from the tourist crowds.

A tavern where you can enjoy traditional fare at a fair price. Welcoming staff, spacious tables, even for two. Located in an alleyway near the main roads, it's difficult to find by chance if you're passing by. The dishes are delicious and generous, as are the fillings and toppings. The vintage signs on the walls are charming. To complete the experience, you absolutely must try their desserts displayed in the window; the cookies near the register are also delicious. A heartfelt tip: always ask for the bread; it's excellent, like a thick, doughy focaccia. Try it, you won't regret it. It's tempting to ask for seconds, but I advise against it because the dishes are complete and there's no shortage of ingredients. Congratulations!
