We discovered Osteria BoccaBuona through a friend: the place is hidden and hard to find. We're truly grateful for the recommendation: the food was all excellent, freshly prepared, and with the flavors of homemade food made with love. The welcoming setting and excellent service completed the experience of an unforgettable dinner (my mouth is still watering just thinking about it!).

Very refined and welcoming atmosphere. The chef is truly excellent, attentive and professional, and the waiter is very kind and helpful. The food is exquisite, all fresh and of excellent quality. A special mention for the spicy gramigna: be careful, it's very spicy, but absolutely delicious! 😍🌶️

Fantastic osteria! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making you feel right at home. The platters of cured meats and cheeses are plentiful and of the highest quality, accompanied by a truly excellent house wine. The first and second courses are excellent. PS: save room for dessert.

My go-to place when I'm in Bologna.
It's there waiting for me, in the center, in its shyly hidden alley, but as soon as I open the door, aromas and smiles welcome me.
The menu features new seasonal options every time, but I definitely can't miss the crescentine with cured meats and friggione, or the tagliatelle with its ragù, or the sumptuous cotoletta alla Bolognese, and to finish, pear tart or ricotta and fig mousse!
Well, what can I say... Osteria Boccabuona, see you next time!

In the heart of Bologna, a delightful and welcoming little place where I've returned several times, always with pleasure, especially when I had guests and wanted to impress with Bolognese dishes. It took me a while to try the entire menu. The charcuterie board with crescentine is a great start. The lasagna is exactly like the one my mother used to make, the meat is top-quality, the coleslaw Bolognese is a specialty, and the desserts are truly refined. And the fact that Andrea manages to make everything in a tiny open kitchen is magical! The staff is welcoming and attentive, the place is friendly and informal. Everything is truly perfect!

Osteria Bocca Buona is a truly pleasant place; I've been there for both business and pleasure.
The chef, Andrea, and his entire team are friendly and helpful; the food is good and plentiful. The wine selection is also good.
