Osteria BIllis In Tortona

I went for lunch today at the suggestion of my partner and her mother (big fans of Billi, who followed E’ sempre mezzogiorno). The staff was fantastically friendly, and Filippo was incredibly personable. Both Filippo and his twin were also available for a photo. We had a wonderful meal in a simple, elegant setting. We'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it. Well done everyone!

We had lunch here on a Sunday in September. The food was truly excellent, the service was attentive, and the location was truly beautiful! Nothing negative, everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

Opposite the Tortona train station is Osteria Billis, a modern and elegant restaurant with a traditional menu reimagined with a contemporary twist. For starters, I chose veal with tuna sauce and a krapfen with béchamel and ragù. Then, for the first course, Derthona ravioli, and to finish, an apple tarte tatin with ice cream. Bold, balanced flavors with a touch of innovation that fits perfectly into the menu! Carefully presented dishes and very attentive and fast service. The prices are obviously a bit higher than a typical osteria, but more than justified for the quality offered. I will definitely be back to try some of the other specialties!

I had dinner at this place last Saturday. I'm not sure I'd go back. There were four of us, and we tried the appetizers: local salami, buba toast, croquettes and doughnuts, veal with tuna sauce, and onion mousse. We also had desserts. I wasn't satisfied; I found the bill expensive. A small sample of fries cost 9 euros! The location is nice, perhaps too dark and a bit noisy; I don't like dining without a tablecloth. The service was good, except for the salami-cutting without gloves...there were really a lot of waiters, all courteous and helpful. P.S.: I also noticed an oversight on the receipt: I paid for two bottles of wine instead of just one.

A contemporary osteria, offering tasty and flavorful dishes, blending tradition and innovation. Excellent wine list, young and professional staff. We will definitely be back.

A welcome gift from a dear friend who, knowing my passion for good food, thought it best to take me to Fratelli Billi. The first impression upon entering is one of wonder and amazement, both for the location (the former Tortona station bar, expertly renovated) and the minimal yet elegant decor. The lighting and music create atmosphere, and the enormous windows convey a strong sense of peace. The culinary offering is based on local ingredients, a perfect blend of tradition and sophistication, with the addition of a few specialties like the Buba Toast. The quality and complexity of the dishes offered is high, with evident attention to both the raw materials and the construction of flavors. The kindness and care shown to customers immediately creates a sense of well-being.

This place is truly a cut above the rest. Friendly service, quality, occasionally live music, exquisite food, and a wide selection of wines and cocktails. The terrace... not to be missed! Highly recommended!

Very good! Very nice place, taken care of in every detail, friendly and professional service, jazz music in the background. Both classic dishes revisited with creativity and intelligence, and more innovative ones. Excellent Quails cooked in Villeroy style and cannoli filled on the spot. We will definitely be back. Well done well done!
