Osteria Bertoliana In Vicenza

A very nice osteria, somewhat tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac. The food is fantastic, and they also serve wine on tap. It was a wonderful evening. Our dog is welcome too, and even gets a treat.

This intimate and well-maintained restaurant, located in a side courtyard off Corso Palladio, offers a friendly and courteous service. The menu is not written but recited, which gives no idea of ​​the prices, which is commercially unfair for customers (I emphasize) who are on the hook. The ingredients used for the dishes are excellent, and the plating is meticulous.

My husband and I ate at the lovely Osteria Bertoliana yesterday on our 42nd wedding anniversary. I read many good reviews and was excited to enjoy their cuisine. We absolutely loved our meal. The menu changes daily. The hostess brings you the menu handwritten on a board. We started with the Buccaneve cheese with honey and pear. Amazing combo of flavors! Then we both enjoyed maccheroncini con ragu di cinghiale (pasta with wild boar). After thoroughly enjoying our pasta, we split a frittata con asiago e cipolloto (cheese and onions). They presented the meal on two separate plates, with two individually made frittatas and a side salad. Wonderful! We leave Padua in four days and I told my husband that I wouldn’t mind going back to Osteria Bertoliana instead of traveling to another city. The hostess/waitress was a very diligent worker. We wouldn’t hesitate coming back here. We didn’t realize there was a back courtyard, it would’ve been nice to sit back there, so make sure you ask when they seat you.

Excellent, tasty, and plentiful dishes. Extremely kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff. Centrally located, simple but with attention to every detail and very clean. I'll be back.

A small, charming restaurant located in the historic center, yet in a quiet square. There are also outdoor tables and a small indoor garden. Local cuisine. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Service is informal yet friendly and attentive.

Not impress pasta dish , stew chicken, bottle regional wine €30. Expensive . Disapointed Déconseillé

Spectacular food, a great place to dine, and best of all, the pleasant and friendly waitress who served us was super friendly and had a big smile from the first moment. She also spoke excellent Spanish and helped us with the menu. I think she's the reason I have the best memories of this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Un po’ nascosta in una viuzza ma accessibile e comoda facendo due passi in centro a Vicenza si trova questo locale alla mano ma estremamente curato. I piatti proposti sono vari e vengono privilegiati ingredienti del territorio. Eravamo in 4 e abbiamo provato tutti piatti diversi. Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità presentata. La terrazza sul retro è un luogo molto piacevole, pranzare all’ombra della vite è stata una bellissima esperienza. Prezzo onesto per i cibi proposti.

Che bella cosa quando si scopre un locale per caso, semplicemente passeggiando domenica durante una gita in una città a due ore dalla propria. Quando in questo ambiente ci si sente davvero a proprio agio, quando si scopre con gusto un piatto di qualità, solo apparentemente semplice, come gli gnocchi alla fioretta. Quando le persone che ci lavorano sono cordiali, sorridenti, attente, ma non assillanti, quando non sei solo un numero di tavolo e tutto quello che ti viene servito richiede il giusto tempo, perché anche il caffè viene fatto con la moka. Quando a fine pasto ti congratuli con lo chef Daniele e da quelle semplici due chiacchiere intuisci l’empatia di fondo che ti ha reso quel posto così piacevole. E sai che ci tornerai. Ecco, questa è l’osteria Bertoliana a Vicenza, un bel posto dove stare bene.
