I have very mixed feelings about this place. The service was very nice, friendly, helpful, and patient, even with those who didn't speak the language. One thing we weren't impressed with was the food. We ordered fish and unfortunately, it was very dry. Perhaps it's a regional difference; in Poland, we're used to fried fish being juicy, and that's the only reason we didn't like it very much.

I had dinner this evening with my wife at this unique location in the seaside village of Arbatax. We enjoyed seafood appetizers, unique in their combination of the freshness of the Ogliastra sea and local fruit. The quality of the raw fish is excellent, and the seafood flavor is very pronounced, evoking ancient seafood flavors that are now hard to find. The staff is friendly and professional, always attentive to the customer's needs. I recommend it to anyone who wants to rediscover authentic flavors and unique pairings.

A wonderful restaurant with such friendly staff, both in the service and in the kitchen. The food is of excellent quality and prices are reasonable. The tiramisu is highly recommended. The tiramisu was fantastic. It was fantastic with you. Thank you, thousands.

A superb restaurant I found by chance while walking around. The prices are really affordable considering the incredible quality of the dishes (the octopus was magnificent). The staff was lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend it!

Very good food in this small, secluded restaurant in Arbatax. The fried food was fresh and flavorful! The pasta with lemon and bottarga was excellent! It was cooked perfectly, al dente, just how I like it! It was a bit difficult to communicate with the waiters who only spoke Italian, even though the manager made the effort to say a few words in French. I recommend it!

We ate very well; you can choose both fish and meat, with typical local dishes. Fast and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

FANTASTIC!! Despite the large number of people, despite the hostess being pregnant, they served us like gods! The dishes were well-prepared and the flavors were exquisitely combined! We're still at the table, so I can't judge the bill!! Let's hope for the best 😂😂😂 Highly recommended

14/11/2025: Super friendly service. She explained all the pizzas to us in English and took the time to do so. The pizza base was absolutely fantastic, super crispy, and the pizzas themselves were delicious! The only thing I didn't like so much was that the lighting was very bright and unpleasant. I would suggest installing warm white lighting, at least above the dining tables? ;)

Hotel Ristorante Sant'Efisio

01/01/2026: The rooms could definitely use a makeover. The bathroom lacks a bidet; there's a "shower" that only produces cold water. The soundproofing is terrible. The mattresses look like they're on the brink of their lifespan and definitely need replacing. The pillows, too. There was a nauseating smell, probably from the sewer system; we made sure to air out the room and keep the bathroom door closed. Undoubtedly, one of the pros is the location, surrounded by nature. The New Year's Eve buffet dinner was quite disappointing due to poor timing. The food was good, of course, but practically everything was put on the counter at once, and by 10 pm we were twiddling our thumbs and nibbling on cold dishes. The desserts arrived, appropriately, later. There was "entertainment" that was definitely and only suitable for a certain age group. Another pro: the friendly waitresses.
