Sometimes I go out and wander around Lomellina... I can't help it... A homey atmosphere... When I want to eat and relax... I stop for lunch!! Excellent authentic cuisine!! I highly recommend it!

Since the change of management, the restaurant has proven to be excellent; I had a top-quality business lunch there. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Osteria Barbavara was a pleasant surprise. We were lucky enough to have lunch there on a Saturday in early September, having stumbled upon it by chance because it was nearby. The food was excellent, with authentic ingredients and homemade pasta. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

We happened upon it on a Saturday: the food was homemade, all excellent, and genuine. Starter, second course, side dish, wine, water, coffee, and homemade dessert were €18 each! EVERYTHING EXCELLENT!

L’atmosfera è autentica e accogliente, con quel tocco rustico che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il servizio è attento e cordiale. La cucina è genuina, fatta con passione e rispetto per la tradizione. Ogni dettaglio, dal pane alla cortesia del personale, racconta una storia di cura e amore per il mestiere. Un luogo dove si mangia bene, si sta bene, e si ha voglia di tornare. Consigliatissima per chi cerca sapori veri e momenti sinceri.

My family and I often return to this restaurant, which, in our opinion, is one of the best in the area. The owners' passion for cooking is reflected in their commitment to quality food. The owner, who is always present, is kind and attentive to even the most discerning customers, always offering the best advice. The cuisine, traditional Italian, is also suitable for those with food intolerances. I highly recommend it.

From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. We tried several dishes, and there was definitely a lot of research behind it, the quality of the ingredients used, and the owner was very kind. (The ricotta and sour cherry dessert is highly recommended to finish the meal.)
