We booked with a The Fork card and were greeted immediately by friendly staff who seated us in the dining room. We sampled an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert—all homemade and traditional. Excellent! I recommend it to anyone who wants authentic food in an unpretentious place.

I went for a social dinner with a fixed-price menu: €40 for generous appetizers (excellent cured meats, cabbage salad, country pie, frittata, etc.), a first course (yellow risotto with sausage, perhaps with parmesan a bit raw for my taste), a truly excellent roast with potatoes, and panettone with cream. Wine, by the glass, was paid separately. Service was perhaps a bit slow, but there were a lot of us and we were quite noisy. We'll be back on a quieter evening.

Sometimes I go out and wander around Lomellina... I can't help it... A homey atmosphere... When I want to eat and relax... I stop for lunch!! Excellent authentic cuisine!! I highly recommend it!

Since the change of management, the restaurant has proven to be excellent; I had a top-quality business lunch there. The staff is very kind and helpful.
