Last minute Mother's Day lunch reservation. The location is truly stunning, the view is spectacular and the ambiance inside is no exception. The food was really high quality, well prepared, well served and truly delicious. The staff was really friendly but it would have been nice if at least the wine was served first to the women instead of the men. The prices are a bit high but they definitely reflect the quality.

Very nice place from which you have an excellent view of the surrounding plain and hills, well-prepared and well-prepared dishes linked to the season and the territory, a large and varied wine list, good service, very good value for money.

The restaurant is very pleasant with large windows overlooking the hills. The seasonal proposal, with a good choice of dishes. Very good choice of interesting wines both regional and from the rest of Italy

Cena in coppia prenotata con the fork, bella posizione con vista sui vigneti del Collio, sal ampia e luminosa, tavoli ben distanziati, servizio attento e con tempi buoni, piatti elaborati ma non troppo, con cibo di buona qualità e in porzioni generose. Conto adeguato

I have already been to Baldovino twice (new management), and I must say I was enthusiastic. The first time it was in the evening, so I couldn't admire the surrounding beauty from the immense windows, but excellent food and flawless service. The second time I went for lunch and, despite it being a cloudy day, I really enjoyed the setting. They change the menu based on seasonality so it is always varied. I recommend it.

27/03/2025: With a medieval flavour, this place is immersed in the context of the Colloredo di Montalbano castle as it represents the old stables. It offers good dishes of some Friulian recipes. The menu is not extensive, but there is still a good choice to taste the products of this land. It also offers pizza, not half-day, with classic recipes but also some gourmet options. Friulian wines, of various kinds, always good. The sober decor is the ancient structure with 2 rooms on 2 levels, offering a nice atmosphere. The service is inn-type, a little confusing... but it makes you smile as the staff manages to resolve everything quickly and on multiple tables at the same time. One piece of advice I can give is to complete your meal with homemade desserts... which are very good in their simplicity. The prices are not bad. Parking on site or on the street near the castle.
