Absolutely amazing food, service was above and beyond, prices were very fair and the menu was expansive and varied. Stopped here on a whim while travelling and it was our best meal of the whole trip!

Highly recommended if you want to eat excellent traditional food and more! A very charming osteria, in the heart of the island, with excellent value. The food is delicious and the staff is truly friendly and helpful, ready to explain each dish in detail and attentive to the customer's needs! Highly recommended! ❤️

I've had the opportunity to eat at Ara 36 twice and I'm truly impressed. The welcome is warm, the service impeccable, and the dishes are of high quality, with delicious cuisine that's a delight. I tried the set menu, which was very successful, but I admit I have a preference for the dishes offered à la carte. The only slight downside: the lemon tart for dessert, which I found to be way too small. But other than that, everything is perfect!

If I could, I'd give it six stars: one for our lunch (pasta, fish, and the freshest desserts); one because we were lucky enough to sit at an intimate and romantic table overlooking the lake; one for the owner, who was exquisitely kind; one for both waiters who served us; one for the positive atmosphere in the restaurant (which was once the home of a violinist)... and one, finally, for the overall experience and the choice of background music. Highly recommended!
