Typical Roman tavern, without too many pretensions. Simple local dishes at a cheap price. With €12 for lunch you can have a fixed first/second/water menu to choose between some first and some second courses. The quality/price ratio is the advantage of the place, so don't expect the cacio e pepe or the TOP carbonara, but overall you will be satisfied. Very particular furnishings, especially because it is all for sale.

I edit my review after restaurant owner gave detail reply to my negative feedback and I raise to 4 stars. I like that owner take care about reviews and try to respond. But I simply do not believe that this quite little jar is 1 liter, sorry. See picture.

I stumbled upon it by chance. The environment is simple, clean and typical of a tavern. Original in the paintings and photos that cover the walls of the room. The owners very kind and helpful. Typical simple and unpretentious Roman food. Cost appropriate for the quality of the food. Experience to be redone. Thanks guys keep it up

If you are looking for a chic place, you won't find it here, but if you are looking for good food at an excellent price served by welcoming, attentive and friendly staff, this tavern is for you! Super recommended!!!😋😋

18/08/2024: We have returned to this restaurant at lunchtime on our first stay in Rome. It is very appreciated that they prepare a table for you quickly and enjoy attentive service. Good place to enjoy a very good pasta a la amatriciana, a la carbonara, a pesto genovese and the fettuccine al tartufo e porcini, delicious!
18/08/2024: Everything was so delicious and the stuff was very friendly 🤩 you should try lasagna, it was unforgettable 🙏
