Osteria Antica Vetreria In Asti

Excellent food, varied fixed menu, helpful and welcoming staff, characteristic atmosphere with restaurant-like furnishings and frescoed walls with images of Asti. We took: I had trofie with prawns and saffron, aubergines with scapece and courgettes, a sandwich with cereals and water at €12 with fruit salad off the menu at €3, my partner trofie with prawns, peperonata, seafood salad, wholemeal sandwich at €12 with the addition of 1/4 of the house white wine and pistachio pudding off the menu at €6

Lunch break without too many pretensions but still of quality. Super tiramisu

Sabato a pranzo, di passaggio, con pochissimo tempo a disposizione. Usciamo dalla palestra di fronte e ci imbattiamo in questo locale, che le recensioni indicano come "self service"... Sorpresa! Non vi aspettate il self service a cui normalmente si è abituati: qui il personale ha una cortesia e una simpatia al di sopra delle aspettative e il cibo è degno di un'osteria, preparato sul momento, gustoso. Locale piccolino e accogliente. Consigliato! (La torta pere e cioccolato poi .. una vera delizia!)
