We stopped for lunch here for the first time since we're not from the area, and I can say I'd go back any day, starting with the owner, who welcomed us kindly and even let our dog in. The staff in the dining room were impeccable and welcoming. But let's get to the point... top-notch food... gnocchi fritto, I've never had anything like it, and I can still smell the cured meats. For our second course, we had quail skewers with baked potatoes and caramelized onions, recommended by them, and I can tell you... delicious!!! My daughter, on the other hand, had grilled steak with a side dish; the meat melted in her mouth like butter. So if you're passing through, I recommend stopping by; you won't regret it.

I think a score of 3.8 is a fair description of this restaurant. The overall impression is one of a certain superficiality, both in terms of service and offerings.
The lack of a proper wine list and knowledgeable staff is a significant shortcoming, especially for those, like me, who consider wine an integral part of the gastronomic experience.
The cuisine also failed to convince me: dishes lacking in identity, conveying a sense of "I wish I could, but I can't," yet failing to achieve a result that lives up to expectations.
Precisely because I love good food and good wine, I don't feel like recommending it.

Welcoming place, exquisite staff, and the food? You have to be curious and try it.... Everything is excellent!
Located just outside Modena, in an idyllic countryside setting, this osteria is pure charm. A peaceful, authentic place where time seems to slow down.
The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. And the food is exactly what you'd expect from this region: homemade, deeply local dishes, full of flavor and tradition.
Here, there's no artifice, just authenticity. The taste of Italy, the taste of Emilia-Romagna in its purest form.
A place well worth the trip.
