Osteria in an ancient building in Casale, very beautiful inside with very regal vibes.
Menu full of all the Piedmontese delicacies with off-menu in line with seasonal products.
The tasting trio (raw meat, veal with tuna sauce and Russian salad) and the vegetable flan with Piedmontese toma fondue are very good.
Agnolotti with a roast sauce which however left a buttery taste in the mouth. In my opinion a little "plasticky" in consistency.
The large mixed boiled meat, 7 pieces with buttered carrots and mashed potatoes, is very good. It is brought with its sauces (green sauce, mustard, horseradish sauce, mustard, tomato sauce, coarse salt and red sauce).
Overall a decent experience, nothing exceptional.

Excellent quality raw materials. Piedmontese dishes faithful to tradition.
The service is attentive and attentive.
The only flaw of the venue is the acoustics, which are absolutely surmountable, considering all the other positive aspects.
I recommend it.

If you are looking for elegance and refined dishes of Monferrato cuisine, then you are in the right place.
I went to the Amarotto tavern for lunch, I asked the lady who took the order to let me taste something typical and I was fully satisfied. Starter of raw meat, veal with tuna sauce and Russian salad, followed by excellent agnolotti with roast sauce all accompanied by a glass of Barolo. To finish as dessert, a hazelnut and amaretto cream and an exquisite slice of bunet.

First time I ate Piedmontese mixed boiled meat. I liked it.
The desserts (Zabaione con i krumiri and Bonet) were also good.
A little expensive but good dishes with good service.

A traditional restaurant in an environment that combines the elegant sobriety of the furnishings and equipment with valuable antique elements.
The traditional cuisine is tasty and balanced at the same time. We tried the Fassone joke, the ravioli with roast sauce and the bunet.
As a Piedmontese for generations, I was very satisfied with the dishes, as was my friend who came from central Italy.
The staff is really kind and welcoming.
In short, a restaurant that I arrived at by chance but which left a mark on me.
I'll be back.

In the center of the city, a welcoming and comfortable place, tasty typical cuisine and plenty of amazing service, we were looked after and there was everything you could need at the table. I highly recommend it!

Bellissimo locale "vintage".
Ottima l'accoglienza ed il servizio.
Taiarin al tartufo, agnolotti al sugo, poi 2 antipasti: degustazione antipasti dell'osteria ed uno di salumi nostrani.
Bunet ed un'ottimo Barbera!
Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Dai Tajarin con porcini, dove ci sono più funghi che pasta, ai tajarin con tartufo, le papille si inebriano di gusto e tradizione.
Gli antipasti, classici senza tempo, regalano emozioni da percorrere ad occhi chiusi, per gustare sensazioni che riportano ai piatti della nonna, con la perfezione dell'esperienza .
I dolci, come la pasta, fatti in cucina dalle Signore di Casa Amarotto sono il giusto commiato da una tavola di prestigio.
Qui tutto rimanda alla tradizione e alla gentilezza d'un tempo, gli arredi eleganti, la clientela borghese e il titolare che gira tra i tavoli in Sala e , pur non avendoti mai visto prima, si preoccupa che tutto sia di tuo gradimento , discorre amabilmente e ti saluta poi dandoti la mano.
I prezzi sono in linea col livello del locale e ogni piatto vale ampiamente il suo costo.
Un vero Patrimonio Cultural/Gastronomico.
