Excellent experience at this restaurant serving traditional Piedmontese cuisine from the Monferrato region. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was modern and pleasant. We booked specifically to try the Piedmontese-style fritto misto, which was completely satisfying, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the cooking method. The wine list is good, with a wide selection of wines and producers, allowing you to choose what you like. I will return to try other Piedmontese dishes, which, I am sure,
will not disappoint.

I hadn't booked, but they welcomed us anyway, saving the day.
Warm, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere: you feel at home... "pampered," as they say these days.
Great service, a delightful owner, perfect Nebbiolo wine, seemingly simple and directly peasant cuisine, yet rich and elegant on the palate.
The appetizer tasting highlights the meticulous attention to detail in the Russian salad (not overly acidic), the tartare (with separate dressings for individual customization), and the veal with tuna sauce, a smaller (and probably more expensive) but much more delicate cut.
Gnocchi with Piedmontese toma cheese that didn't need to be chewed...they melted between your tongue and palate!
Cheeks in a wine sauce that again didn't need to be chewed, except for the tactile desire to taste their softness.
Zabaglione with krumiri...idyllic.
The Bunet...there...slightly subdued compared to the absolute excellence of the rest.
I have to thank you for the fantastic experience.
We will return as soon as possible.

With a bit of luck, we found a free table, allowing us to enjoy
an excellent mixed boiled meat dish, magnificent tortellini, and a wonderful welcome. We were pampered and spoiled a bit by the "boss" and all his excellent staff. Definitely worth returning, thank you very much.

When food becomes a pleasure, it's a joy. From Milan, for my son's 30th birthday, we chose this Osteria in Casal Monferrato, and it was a triumph of kindness, professionalism, and good food. The service was courteous and empathetic (well done! That's how it's done), the boiled meats were fantastic, and overall, all the dishes we tried were excellent. I do this job, and I can only applaud it. We'll see each other again.
