Super good pasta! We stopped here for a late lunch and was seated inside. Ordered the clam spaghetti and squid ink pasta and both were superb. Staff was super friendly despite being super busy. Loved that there was a clean (but tiny) bathroom for us to use as well. Great place to eat lunch!

We had a lovely supper here. Delicious, authentic Italian food. We were the only English people there. Friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

Everything was great. The counter was a bit pricey. But everything was very good and the service was excellent. Recommended. We didn't wait because we arrived early.

Spectacular restaurant in Venice, without a doubt the best we were in during our trip. A small, cozy and beautiful place with a calm atmosphere where they serve you and explain each dish with as much care as they put into cooking it. To start we ordered a black cuttlefish with polenta which was spectacular and for main courses the ravioli with hazelnut sauce and the mussels and clams pasticio, both delicious, and different from anything we had tried before, a 10/10. For dessert, a homemade tiramisu that melted in your mouth. The only thing I regret is not discovering it sooner because without a doubt we would have returned to try the rest of the pastas and dishes on the menu. I recommend it without a doubt!

Casa de comidas en el centro de Venecia donde se sirven platos tradicionales del lugar. Elaboraciones poco complejas pero perfectamente ejecutadas, a fuego lento y con mucho cariño. Atención correcta y honesta con el turista, sin ánimo de ganar hasta el último euro. Repetiría sin ninguna duda

Maravilloso restaurante con mariscos locales y un increíble Rioloni Neri. La superficie es buena y amable en esta pequeña Osteria. Buena selección de vinos con vinos locales.

14/01/2025: Quando fechamos o hotel Saturnia, já fechamos o restaurante La Caravella e pagamos pelo menu. Eram 2 pratos principais e uma sobremesa. Pelo valor achei caríssimo, porém o meu prato, que foi escolhido, um risotto e um peixe estava bom. O atendente era muito simpático. Valeu ter conhecido, porém eu não pegaria novamente a opção de menu.
24/12/2024: Very warm welcome; excellent service and attention. Very accommodating of a single diner on Christmas Eve. Good food.

27/02/2025: For our last evening in Venice, we chose Trattoria Bar Pontini because of its great reviews and ratings. We were not disappointed. You have to make a reservation if you want to dine here. It is a very popular restaurant with good reason. The atmosphere is joyful and upbeat. They had a table ready and waiting for us. Fabio was a terrific owner – he sailed through the restaurant making everyone feel welcome. I ordered the Cotoletta Vitella all Milanese, which was huge and perfectly battered and fried. I also ordered an Insalata Mista. My husband enjoyed the Filetto di Manzo Gorgonzola along with roast potatoes. I have to tell you they were the best roasted potatoes we had in all of Italy. They were to die for – crisp – not greasy – just fantastic! He finished with an enormous Tiramisu. One thing is for sure, you will not leave hungry from Trattoria Pontini.
16/12/2024: Had a wonderful dinner here. Friendly service, great selection of seafood. My favorite meal during our time in Venice!
