A quiet and cozy place. Everything we tried was incredible, homemade and delicious. The homemade ravioli and lasagna were spectacular, and what can I say about the tiramisu? Highly recommended if you're looking for a place with homemade food that's far from the typical tourist spots. A 10!

Definitely a place you have to visit, one of the best pasta dishes I've ever eaten. We ordered lasagna (flavored with fresh tomato and quality minced beef), bigoli with onion and anchovy sauce (I couldn't finish the dish), linguine with stew sauce (grandmother's slow-cooked and flavorful), and a house wine pairing. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu (still drooling), and white chocolate and pistachio cake (coulant-style). Both were a success. The service was excellent.

When I think of Venice I think of these dry ink ravioli in a saffron sauce. When I go to Venice I will eat there without asking myself any questions. Please note this is without reservation.

Fuimos a cenar temprano ...y menos mal porque se llena enseguida. Ambiente familiar con un servicio excelente. Carta original con platos que no se repiten en los menús venecianos. Tomamos unos papardelle con ragú y unos raviolone rellenos de fungi porcini y queso asiago con salsa de mantequilla y nueves

Casa de comidas en el centro de Venecia donde se sirven platos tradicionales del lugar. Elaboraciones poco complejas pero perfectamente ejecutadas, a fuego lento y con mucho cariño. Atención correcta y honesta con el turista, sin ánimo de ganar hasta el último euro. Repetiría sin ninguna duda

21/05/2025: If you like fish and seafood, this is the place to come. Lots to choose from the menu. We ordered seafood and shrimp pasta as well as arrabiata, which was very spicy. French fries were fresh and tasty. Staff were polite and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for our food.
21/05/2025: Lovely rustic & energetic vibe to this great little place. The staff & owner are very nice and go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying your meal. Lovely touch is the welcome drink and the complementary dessert & shots. Take great care to make sure gluten free folks are looked after. Delicious!

27/02/2025: For our last evening in Venice, we chose Trattoria Bar Pontini because of its great reviews and ratings. We were not disappointed. You have to make a reservation if you want to dine here. It is a very popular restaurant with good reason. The atmosphere is joyful and upbeat. They had a table ready and waiting for us. Fabio was a terrific owner – he sailed through the restaurant making everyone feel welcome. I ordered the Cotoletta Vitella all Milanese, which was huge and perfectly battered and fried. I also ordered an Insalata Mista. My husband enjoyed the Filetto di Manzo Gorgonzola along with roast potatoes. I have to tell you they were the best roasted potatoes we had in all of Italy. They were to die for – crisp – not greasy – just fantastic! He finished with an enormous Tiramisu. One thing is for sure, you will not leave hungry from Trattoria Pontini.
16/12/2024: Had a wonderful dinner here. Friendly service, great selection of seafood. My favorite meal during our time in Venice!
