I stumbled upon this place by accident and was so happy I did. The 'leavere a venicciana' tasted homemade and absolutely perfect. And the bigoli with anchovies left me wishing for more! 😍

Osteria Alla Caneva, in the historic center of Bassano del Grappa: warm welcome, genuine smiles, and excellent traditional Venetian dishes. Very fair prices, authentic atmosphere. It's always best to book (now I know why!). A well-deserved five stars.

WOW! Incredible experience. Everything was delicious and prepared with care, from the seasonal local dishes to the homemade pasta, polenta, and porcini mushrooms. The house starter was a perfect introduction to traditional Veneto cuisine. Great selection of local wines and very friendly staff. Located in the heart of magical Bassano del Grappa, just a short walk from the historic Ponte degli Alpini. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back. Booking in advance is a good idea

It's a shame the promises were high, but unfortunately they weren't fulfilled. They were slow to serve even water, and it took an hour to bring a veal with tuna sauce for a child, honestly, is too long. If you also get the bill wrong, the review can't be positive. Let's hope it was a bad night, but next time I hope they can surprise me as much as the location. The guy at the entrance was very friendly and courteous.

Bel locale rustico con pochi posti. Segue molto la stagionalità, infatti in menù c' erano parecchi piatti con gli asparagi. Buone le fettuccine a 12€ anche se avrei gradito 2 forchettate in più, sia di pasta sia di asparagi. Servizio veloce e gentile.

Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene ad un prezzo giusto. Immancabile il baccalà e buonissimi gli asparagi delle tagliatelle.Non so se titolare o dipendente ma il signore che ci ha accolto è stato molto cordiale, attento e simpatico.
Un indirizzo da conservare.
