It was a gastronomic experience that I will hardly forget and that I highly recommend to anyone who loves good food. 1️⃣ Extraordinary cuisine: The dishes are the perfect balance between tradition and innovation. I tried the casoncelli alla Bresciana, homemade and deliciously seasoned, and the gorgonzola and walnut gnocchi, which were an explosion of flavours. Each course is taken care of down to the smallest detail, with the freshest and expertly combined ingredients. 2️⃣ Welcoming environment: The atmosphere is warm and familiar, but with a touch of elegance that makes the place perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The furnishings are refined, and the small number of tables creates an intimate and peaceful environment. 3️⃣ Impeccable service: The staff is friendly, professional and always available. The owner was exceptional, recommending the dishes and passionately telling the history of the place and their recipes. 4️⃣ Wine list: An excellent selection of local Franciacorta wines perfectly accompanies the dishes offered. The staff's suggestions on wines to pair were spot on. 5️⃣ Value for money: The prices are more than adequate for the quality and care of the dishes. The portions are generous, and the value for money is truly excellent. Conclusion: Osteria Casa Marcellina is a small jewel in the heart of Franciacorta, perfect for those looking for authentic cuisine, a welcoming environment and impeccable service.
