I did a takeaway of pasta carbonara and it was sooooo good!!!!

It was excellent! ✨ We originally came to try the cicchetti, which were truly delicious. But we couldn't resist trying the pasta too... and what a great idea! The carbonara was simply perfect 🤌🏻🍝 I highly recommend this place if you're passing through Venice! It's far from the tourist traps!

A wonderful experience in Venice. Very pleasant and friendly service, and cuisine that delighted us (so much so that we came back three times during our short stay). We will definitely return!

Delicious carbonara and spaghetti all'amatriciana. The service was very friendly, and I immediately offered to help translate the menu. The prices were also very reasonable, considering the prices in Venice (carbonara €14, Aperol €5). We definitely recommend it!

Authentic homemade food, good prices, the best restaurant in Venice. There are few restaurants left with the authentic essence.

The best carbonara I have ever eaten.

One of the small streets of Venice, where you don’t look for surprises! But then you bump into “la Osteria al Tajer” and you are lucky enough to find a spot! Food: like from Mama‘s kitchen – but Italian mama not just any mama! Wines: a small but excellent collection of very good wines. Watch the Cicchetti (the small Venetian sandwiches with great variety of toppings)! They were so good. I had to stop myself to leave space for the main serving. Of course, we met some friends there – people who come into this place because they just simply enjoy company - that rounded the whole thing off. Much more to say! It’s recommended to reserve your spot.

Very disappointed. We ordered the duck ragú and the wild boar ragú. Not one of those was described as white ragú, and they did not taste good. The cicchetti was ok, but not very fresh. No option of house wine, which was also disappointing. We've bern too Italy several times, and this was one of our bad surprises. Prices are decent.

Absolutely fantastic food, atmosphere and welcome. Was recommended this restaurant by a local bar man. So glad I listed and took the family. Proper local home cooked food that doesn't bust the bank. Outstanding dish had the be; the wild boar tagliatelle and the seafood lasagna. Wish was staying longer so we could go back to try more delicious dishes Thank you
