First dinner in Venice for me and two friends. We couldn't have started our vacation better. The girl at the tables (perhaps the owner) gave us suggestions for the menu and gave us excellent advice. We had seafood lasagna, white polenta with cuttlefish and squid ink, and spaghetti with shrimp and eggplant. Everything was truly excellent! The portions were definitely satisfying. Unfortunately, we only stayed in the area the first night, so we weren't able to come for dinner another night. But I will return to Venice and try more. Even the cicchetti.

An excellent osteria, one of those simple places with good food and great service. The space is quite small, with a few indoor seats and a few outdoor tables. The service was very friendly, the kind that makes you feel at home, and very efficient. The menu, straightforward and to the point, features excellent dishes that change constantly depending on the season or day; the seafood starters are a highlight—try the spaghetti with shrimp and scallops. There are some vegetarian options. Good value. Well worth a visit.

We'd been looking for a good pasta carbonara in Venice for several years, and we finally found it: it was delicious. The restaurant is very small, so arrive early or make a reservation. The service is fast and friendly.

As my husband was suffering from a bad cold, I decided to continue with my plans to have a dinner here one evening during our stay in Venice. The selection was a relatively long list of daily choices and I was very happy with the 'tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale.' Absolutely delicious and large portion very reasonably priced. The service was great, and the lovely host was very gracious and helpful. I would definitely go back, and hopefully my husband could join me.

Excellent place to stop by for a few drinks and snacks, and the food is also delicious. I wouldn't pass it up.

Excellent cicchetti break. Good selection of quality cicchetti. Lovely location on a small street away from the tourist crowds.
