I stumbled upon this wonderful osteria by chance, returning from a business trip to Garfagnana. The atmosphere is familiar, warm, and authentic! You can feel the welcome of a time suspended in time, made of connections and conviviality. The menu is extraordinary, especially for those who love experimentation, understood as the courage to rediscover raw materials and recipes from our tradition.
All three times I've had the pleasure of being a guest at Ritrovo del Platano, the cuisine has never disappointed, offering time-honored flavors and tasty dishes.
A must-see!

I had lunch at this osteria and was pleasantly surprised. The highlight was undoubtedly the duck breast, cooked to perfection on a bed of succulent leeks—the best I've ever had. I also tried the baked onion, flavorful and delicious in its simplicity.
To conclude, the Torta del Nonno chocolate cake was a true masterpiece: soft, delicious, and perfect to end a special lunch.
An ideal place for those seeking authentic cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and completely relaxing. Highly recommended!

Well, what looked promising in the photos was rather mediocre. We had a reservation for the evening on Sunday at lunchtime (when the place was packed). We were the only ones there, which wasn't anyone's fault, but the restaurant was quite cold, and the owner and waitress were so rushed that plates were being cleared while some people were still eating. The dishes were interesting, and the menu was small with items you don't find everywhere. The execution was mediocre. What was completely unacceptable was the broken sound system with CDs from 20 years ago and a speaker that crackled more than anything else. We had hoped for more and won't be coming back.

A really lovely place, delicious local cuisine. We had two pasta dishes and the duck and all were very tasty.
