Besides being the tavern where Giovanni Pascoli ate, it's also surrounded by beautiful things to see. Inside, you'll find a very kind lady who cooks a wonderful Garfagnina soup.

I couldn't have made a better choice for a business lunch nearby. A full lunch for €15. I ordered and received a Garfagnina soup off the menu, which was clearly overpriced, but it was worth it. It was truly excellent, as was the service and the comfortable, perfectly air-conditioned environment. It's a pleasure to have lunch here, thank you.

Ristorante tipico toscano , location che ricorda le trattorie di un tempo, ottimi sapori , piatti cucinati con maestria unitamente ad ingredienti di livello . Personale gentile e chef che viene personalmente ai tavoli. Tutto molto buono , carne suprema e cotta alla perfezione. Bellissima esperienza

Very fast service and excellent food.
The first courses were far better than the second courses.
Tortelli with ragù were very good, well-seasoned and delicious, with a very flavorful filling.
Pappardelle with venison were exquisite, with chunks of venison (it's a shame it wasn't in the second course).
Ravioli with duck and truffle sauce, a truly special dish worth trying.
For the second course, duck on a bed of creamed leeks and roast veal belly: certainly well-cooked, but in my opinion, the first courses are much superior.
Tiramisu (good and plentiful).
Coffee, water, and wine. €85 for two adults and one child.
If you're in the area, stop by. :)

We came across this tavern by chance in the direction of Lucca, seeing from Florence due to an accident on the highway.
WONDERFUL place with covered parking with a pergola.
The atmosphere inside takes you back to times when happy hours were spent at the tavern.
We ate the local specialties served with courtesy and kindness.
Garfagnina soup, tortelli with ragù, goose liver with leek sauce and roast potatoes.
Rating: 10
I recommend it to everyone.

The name of the tavern, seen along the road, pushed us to stop and go in; pleasant surprise both for the menu and for the environment.
Portions rather generous and of excellent quality.
