Small tavern, I recommend booking. Excellent for aperitifs and meals. Typical Venetian menu. Very kind manager! Follow his advice!

Happened by chance on New Year's Eve, an unmissable stop on the tour of Venice, friendly and nice staff where you can still find a "shadow" at a normal price.

On every tour of Venice it is MANDATORY to stop at Al Portego, delicious cicchetti, spectacular wine and an intimate place away from the frenzy of tourism, highly recommended!

A delight!! The dishes are succulent with generous quantities but not cloying. Very friendly and fast service. Remember to make a reservation or arrive at the restaurant 5 to 10 minutes before opening. We were there with our 3 year old and she enjoyed duck gnocchi 😋👌🏻 I had pork and gorgonzola ravioli and my husband had sea tagliatelle. To do!!

Fuimos recomendados por el guía del freetour y la comida estaba buena, el servicio un poco lento pero al haber tanta gente era comprensible. La sorpresa llegó con la cuenta, cuando por 3 porciones de lasaña y 6 croquetes nos cobraron casi 120€. Supuestamente eran tapas lo que íbamos a tomar pero, con la excusa de que nos sentamos en mesa, nos cobraron en exceso. Para nuestra opinión, nada recomendable teniendo en cuenta la competencia del lugar.

Uno de los mejores sitios de Venecia, según mi amigo Víctor que lleva 6 años viviendo aquí, para tomar esta especie de canapé similar a los pintxos vascos en los que pruebas una gran variedad de ricos bocados de comida sobre una rodaja de pan.

30/11/2024: A wonderful experience: enter slow food mode, as they say "it takes time to prepare a good dish with love. Cristina is fantastic and makes you feel pampered. We ate raw and cooked appetizers (try the cod meatballs), first courses and delicious and tender fried food. Recommended place to spend a quiet evening with quality raw materials transformed with love and expert hands, there is no shortage of off-menu proposals with original but balanced combinations.
26/10/2024: The food was delicious and the fish was super fresh and refreshing. The octopus was not rubbery and the pasta aldente. The fruits in the desserts were fresh and were a nice ending.

29/12/2024: Manânc la această trattorie încă din 2000 şi nu au făcut niciodată rabat la calitate. Cele mai bune fructe de mare stropite cu un pinot grigio si la urma zgroppino ... Delicios ! V-o recomand cu dragă inimă !
