Osteria Al Ponte In Ovaro

After searching for several restaurants in the area that were still open for lunch, we found this osteria while passing through. They were very helpful and accommodated our every request. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat and order traditional food, especially the ravioli!

Very delicious food. We had pizza, pasta, gnocchi, and tiramisu. The ambiance was simple, practical, and functional. Nevertheless, it was perfectly fine and clean. We enjoyed it and would gladly come back.

Very tasty! Real home-made Carniolan cuisine, my family and I had a lot of fun!

This place is awesome. They grow their own vegetables!!! The food is nuanced in flavor, rooted in the mountain culture, and nicely portioned for a light yet heavily satiating meal before heading back on the road, not to mention, it’s ALL homemade! The service was lovely and fast, not much English but zero difficulties in communicating. The view by the Osteria is also a foreshadow of the alpine sprawl with its lucious greens and view on the mountain, also, cool bridge. I enjoyed eating here (clearly.) Nice outdoor and indoor seating.
