Osteria Al Poc In San daniele del friuli

What a great and fun Osteria this is! We had a delicious meal there and the red house wine goes well with the meal. There is no menu but the waiter gives a summary of what is on offer that day. Absolutely friendly and fast service which certainly contributes to a successful evening. Reservations are a must otherwise there is a chance that there will be no more space. It is located in a quiet street with an outdoor terrace and parking is possible directly nearby.

The atmosphere and the clientele are mostly local and make the place welcoming, the decor rustic. The prosciutto crudo appetizer was very good. The pasta with San Daniele was unfortunately disappointing for the simple fact that it is pasta with cream and very small pieces of prosciutto and poppy seeds. I think the courtyard ragù was better than the rest. The desserts were mostly not homemade except for the tiramisu, the tart was indeed cold and very sweet. The prices are fair and the blonde waitress was very nice in the service. The thing that made me most shudder were the bathrooms, a single urinal on the floor very old and dirty, for an unspeakable woman.

Dinner for two, welcomed in a cordial but friendly way. The menu of the day featured 3 first courses and 3 second courses. I chose very good cold cuts and cheeses and a first course each. Excellent tagliatelle with roe deer, decent tagliolini with San Daniele.

Nice place run by very good young people. Traditional local foods. The guinea fowl rolls are excellent. Must try

We went to this typical tavern attracted by the beautiful photos seen online. The food is good, you can feel the care taken in the preparation. However, we were a little disappointed by the limited choice on the menu, which limited the experience a bit. I understand the difficulties that can exist in managing such a business, so I still give a high score. However, it would be an improvement to offer a few more options to make the experience even more complete. It's a shame, because the potential is there!

Very nice place with warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent ham and very tasty first courses, even the second course based on chicken was really good. Recommended if you go to San Daniele
