It was the feast of the patron saint of Poiano (St. Peter and Paul) so a lot of people. However, the tavern is tiny so reservations are mandatory. I only drank and the prices were a bit inflated (but I drank well...)

Excellent tavern in Poiano on the first hills just outside Verona. The place is very small so I recommend booking well in advance, it was difficult for me to find a place and I had to insist, but it was worth it. Refined dishes executed in an excellent way, excellent raw materials. Hospitality and friendliness await you in this tavern. Good wine list, fair prices, highly recommended. Always better. The tiramisu is unmatched.

I have to go back because I didn't really understand if I like it! It seems so...but I arrived and my friends were already ahead with the courses....simple place and simple courses....I have to go back I didn't even understand if it's a fixed menu

A magnificent place, the classic tavern with a very good chef (host). Typical Veronese cuisine with an extra special touch, abundant and tasty dishes. The price? maybe a few euros less but they are all worth it. I'll be back again

We went for lunch in this nice tavern after reading lots of positive reviews, I'll start by saying that the place is simple, spartan and run by the chef Michele who is really nice and kind, unfortunately the food wasn't fantastic, the starters were mediocre, the first courses were just sufficient, the pasta was also raw and everything was very dry and barely warm, perhaps prepared previously and heated in the microwave, the second courses were good and the dessert wasn't made. Outsized price, 45 euros

Locale incantevole! Pranzo tra amici. Cibo buono ed ottima compagnia. Il titolare Michele è una persona formidabile.

A place without too many frills but the chef and his cuisine make the difference... absolutely worth trying.
