Because of us, the experience was faster than it should have been. We were immediately delighted with the entree accompanied by a sparkling wine, followed by the restaurant's unique choice of having the menu brought to your table directly by the manager—a much appreciated experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and attentive. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food is refined yet faithful to tradition. We tried the poached egg with white truffle, the Friulian cappuccino (very popular, there was one at every table and the comments were all positive), tagliatelle with venison ragù, and ravioli with formadi frant and pumpkin, accompanied by glasses recommended by the staff. A delight. P.S. The only downside: the price was a surprise.

Osteria restaurant in Villalta di Fagagna. Delicious food with a focus on local products. The paccheri with Montasio fondue and Friulian truffle are highly recommended. Roberto is knowledgeable and friendly, with a quick wit. Highly recommended.

I was passing through the Fagagna area for work, and knowing absolutely nothing about the place, I stumbled upon this Osteria, tucked away on a side street. Never has a choice been so fortunate and satisfying. The restaurant is well-kept and elegant, yet not overly so. The owner, like the innkeepers of old, is very knowledgeable and friendly. We trusted him with all the menu choices. We tried the classic San Daniele prosciutto, followed by a delicious Nebrodi prosciutto. Next came a slow-cooked egg with Friulian black truffle. Unforgettable! Then came a special Friulian salad with chopped hard-boiled eggs and salami paste. And to finish, tagliolini with pomace flour and fresh porcini mushrooms. The wine cellar is well-stocked, with tastings by the glass available, including Amarone di Domini Veneti at a special price (8 euros a glass). Very fair prices! What more can I say? We'll be back... A 5-star restaurant!

Very unique Friulian dishes. For starters, for example, creamed chestnut soup with chopped hazelnuts and porcini mushrooms. Knowledgeable staff. Prices are moderately high, but the food is worth it.

A welcoming atmosphere, exquisite food, dishes crafted with attention to detail and rich in imagination and flavor. You won't leave hungry, but with a wonderful experience. The owner somehow managed to extract my birthday information when I booked and greeted me with a pleasant surprise. The staff pampered me throughout the dinner. Excellent.
