Il locale, molto caratteristico, è piccolissimo e quindi costringe i clienti a mangiare gomito a gomito con i tavoli attaccati. Sui tavoli vieni messo un foglio di carta paglia e questo è il servizio con dei prezzi da ristorante di gran classe.
La fiorentina, alla brace è molto buona e viene servita anche ben cotta. Ottima an che la salsiccia sempre alla brace.
Deliziosi i cantucci al vin santo di fine pasto.
Il servizio è molto veloce.
Il ristorante applica due turni con prenotazione. Il secondo alle 14.30, ed il primo alle 12.30. Da notare che se arrivi qualche minuti prima delle 12.30 non ti fanno asolutamente entrare.
Per quanto sopra e in relazione ai prezzi praticati non ritorneremo certamente in questo locale.

I managed to eat well in this tavern despite being vegan. As an appetizer I ordered a delicious tomato bruschetta, as a first course some delicious homemade pici all'aglione, and as a side dish sautéed wild herbs with chilli pepper. The prices are definitely honest. It would be wonderful if in the future they considered including a vegan option in the desserts.

If you pass through Montepulciano it is an obligatory stop, not a large place, 2 shifts for lunch and dinner, reservations recommended, exceptional food! Meat and Tuscan cuisine reign supreme

It was a fun and unique experience. I called a couple weeks before to make reservations. It took a few times to get through, but was worth the effort as you need a reservation.
The steak was good, but not fantastic. They had forgotten to salt it. I was able to add salt, so not a real problem, but took me some time to realize it.
The pear salad was very good.
I would recommend going here as it is a fun experience, but might not be the best steak you have ever had.
We sat with a lady from Israel and had a nice time visiting with here.

Attracted by the reviews we stopped to have dinner in this place, the Florentine steak was truly delicious, wood cooked with the right amount of fat.
The cod and the beef meatballs with sauce are also good.
The only flaw was a cat that wandered around inside the restaurant, even picked up by a waiter during service.

We had lunch at this tavern.
We ate very well, especially the dishes with truffles (of excellent, difficult quality).
Excellent value for money.
We will definitely return also because we haven't tried their flagship, Fiorentina which was really very inviting.

I've been leaving Valmontone for years to eat Fiorentina at this tavern. Fair prices, very courteous staff, very friendly owner and the Fiorentina delicious and cooked to perfection as only Mr. Giulio can do!
